We are less than ONE day away from Public Access!!
Back before the sale even opened to card holders, I took a poll on Instagram asking if you were going to shop private or public access. Most of you said Public, so I have felt pretty bad sharing all the deals + great pieces knowing some of you had to wait! Well it's your turn now and I am here to help you get what you want!
Just like I talked about before it opened to card holders, it's best to go in with a game plan to ensure you get what you really want! They will be restocking (if history repeats itself), but you're going to have to act fast!! I'm going to hit on everything you should know and share all the pieces that I bought or tried on (below). You can always refer back to my original blog post (here) for tips too!
My biggest tip would be to shop the sale online first! I have been to the store multiple times since the sale went live and you have a way better chance of getting what you want online.
When will the sale open to the public?
The sale starts at midnight PST Friday 7/20 (3am Eastern). So if you're on the West Coast like me, I HIGHLY recommend staying up till midnight (or setting an alarm) to grab everything when it goes live! Trust me, you thought things sold out fast the first go around, they are going to FLY when it opens to the public!
What to Grab First?
First things first, get the shoes + cardigans you want! You can create a wishlist on the Nordstrom site (under the Anniversary Tab) now and as soon the sale goes live add those things to your cart and check out. Nordstrom has free shipping, so you can always do multiple orders. Don't leave things in your cart! If someone is checking out faster than you they will sell out before you check out. I know it sounds like I'm exaggerating, but that happened to me!
Will They Restock Everything?
I wish I knew the answer to this! We have been getting such mixed reviews on this from the employees. It sounds like brands that are carried other places (spanx, nike, zella) will have a better chance than in house brands. Not to say they won't restock the in store brands, but there most likely won't be as much back stock, so if you see it in your size, grab it and think about it later haha! Free returns make that easy ;)
To piggy back off that, since card holders have had a chance to shop a solid week already, there will be a lot of returns coming back. It's very likely that people ordered multiple sizes, so if you have your heart set on something stalk it online!! You will see sizes come in and out periodically!!
FYI- I touched on this a little on my Insta-stories, but when you guys click a link through my blog or swipe up on my stories and make a purchase I receive a small commission. The two best selling shoes from you ladies happen to be my two favorite that actually came home with me!! I knew going into the sale that I wanted a bootie & a sneaker. And that's exactly what I left with. I loved all the shoes, like really loved them, but I listened to myself and set a budget before going in. These two were my top MUST HAVE! I am obsessed with both and have worn them each a bunch in the short week I have had them....that's how you know it's love! Both are gorgeous, practical for this stage of life, and can be worn now & when it cools off! #WINNING
Vince Camuto, Pevista Booties- I went with the color 'Foxy Suede' which is the prettiest taupe/grey color. They do come in a true grey, but I thought this color would go with everything!! I've already styled them with shorts, jeans, and plan to wear them with dresses. If you're looking for a bootie that does it all, these are them!
Adidas Flashback Sneakers- The moment I spotted these online at midnight when the sale went live, I added to cart & never looked back! I LOVE these!! They fit true to size and will be perfect for momming around town! I also bought them with Disneyland in mind, but really you can wear black + white sneakers anywhere! Maybe these will even see the gym...but if I had to guess they'll see a lot more Target, haha!
FYI, these have been pretty much sold out since day 1, so if you have your heart set on them when public access starts, then make these first priority! Add them to your cart, check out, and then go about your other shopping. They are a hot item this year!
BP Mules- These are available in 4 colors, but of course I reached for the blush! I loved the style and look of these! They would be super cute with a white tee & jeans for a casual date night! The chunky heel makes them very comfortable and I would say they run true to size.
Vince Camuto Kentvi Booties- These were SO close to coming home with me, but I tried to be a good girl! I'm regretting it hard core and might have to grab them before they completely sell out. They do come in other colors, but this shade is the perfect neutral if you can only get one. They're
very comfortable thanks to the chunky heel too. I love this option because the peep toe makes them appropriate for summer + fall...or winter if you live in Southern California like me! These run true to size as well.
Lucky Brand Wedge Booties- I loved how these were different than other others and had a wedge heel! Which made them uber comfortable...I prefer comfort if you haven't noticed-ha! With that said, you do not sacrifice any amount of cuteness with these! They come in 5 other colors and look adorable with jeans and dresses!
Sam Edleman Booties- My mom was the one who spotted these and she left with them! They are the perfect tan shade for year round. She's taller too and was happy with this heel height because it was one of the lower ones included in the sale! I really adore the gold detailing. They run true to size!
Steve Madden Mules- These were one of those that I didn't realize I was going to love as much as I did until I tired them on! They instantly jazz up whatever you're wearing and give it a chic factor! I love the idea of throwing these on with denim cut off shorts & a white tee orrr jeans as it cools down. They come in a bunch of colors and a snake print. These were another hot item, so I recommend grabbing quickly! They run true to size.
FYI, if you miss out on these or are looking for a more budget friendly option, I have seen these (click here) floating around Instagram for half the price!!
Tory Burch Sandals- I knew a lot of you would be thrilled to see a Tory Burch sandal included since it was a little bit of a surprise! You ladies love the Millers and these are a solid $50 cheaper. I will say they are SO comfortable, the most comfortable sandals I have worn in a longtime. But if you are wanting the Millers, I would recommend saving and waiting to buy those. These are a great budget option, but not the same! They run like the Millers, size up a 1/2 size for best fit.
One pair of shoes they did not have in store, but I highly recommend grabbing is the Hunter Boots. It's not often they go on sale and right now they are only $99 & free shipping (normally $150). I wear mine as much as I can during the cold months! They are SO fun to style.
This was hands down my favorite cardigan from the sale! I also think if you have this on your list, you are going to have to act fast! It comes in 5 colors and they are all gorgeous. My personal favorite is the blush (duh), the tan, and the grey. They will work year round and go with everything. These run on the larger size and I actually sized down to an xsmall! I really recommend sizing down at least one size. As you can see from above, the styling options are endless!
My fingers are crossed SO tight this top gets restocked for you ladies! This has been the number one item I have received DMs about asking if I thought they would get it again. I can see why too, it's a gem! Only $25 (comes in two colors) and can be styled many ways. I sized up to a medium so I could knot it in front. I also love it left undone, paired with my spanx or zella leggings. If for some reason they don't restock, you can always grab the Amazon version (here) or the OG Urban Outfitters version (here).
This Jacket!!! Ahh it was one of those pieces, that once I put it on, I knew it was coming home with me. Actually my mom and I grabbed it as well, #twins. (We both got smalls) If you missed my stories, the part that makes it so unique is that the hood is removable. So you can get a dressier & casual look out of it! The price point is amazing- $64 (originally $98!)
I always look forward to the basics that the BP department releases with the sale! I loved this years version, but I will say the white tee in both long sleeve & short sleeve is very sheer. I would personally stick with the stripes or darker colors. Girls love to stock up on these since the price point is so low (short sleeve $11/ long sleeve $18) so act fast if you have your eye on them! I wore a medium in both and think you should size up unless you want a fitted look.
BP Flannel $31-I loved these flannels so much, I did a special try-on just for them! They come in 6 color options and are only $31! I had such a hard time picking just one color, but these three are my top favorites. The green is stunning in person, the red is perfection for the holidays and the white will work year round! They are SO soft too. The small that I'm wearing is more over sized, so if you want it fitted, I would recommend sizing down.
BP Varsity Sweater $25- This was again another great sweater for fall! I loved the large stripes and it would look great with jeans or booties. It would also be cute on cool summer nights paired with jean shorts. Runs true to size, I'm wearing a medium.
Barefoot Dreams Cardigan $78- If you're looking for one thing to invest in during the sale, let it be this sweater!! It is SO soft, like being wrapped in your favorite blanket! This would also make a great gift for someone that has everything! For sizing, I went with the medium. The small fit, but was more fitted and I wanted a looser fit. I would say it runs true to size.
BP Cardigan $31- This one reminds me of the Leith Cardigan, but a little less expensive! It comes in 6 colors and is a great layering option for fall! This one will most likely fly, so grab it quick if you want it!! For sizing, I'm wearing a small and would say it runs a little big.

BP Cami $22- These sold out before I could even post them!! They are the perfect layering piece so I can see why! I love the idea that you can essentially layer these under everything from a denim jacket, a cardigan, to the leather jacket-and it would look cute every single time! They are also really sexy on their own for date night or girls night. If they don't restock, this cami (here) is almost exact! I owned last years version and still love it!
Sizing info: I wore a small, the medium was too big, so if you're between sizes size down.
BP Sweater // Free People Bralette // Jeans // Sandals
BP Sweater $25- This light weight sweater was a favorite of mine! It comes in 6 colors and all of them are gorgeous! These two and the colbalt were my personal favs, but you can't go wrong with any of them. This sweater has been a hot item from the sale! Sizing info, I'm wearing a medium, so it can be worn off the shoulder. Size up if you want to do the same!
Free People Bralette $38- Ok, so this is not included in the sale, but it's a must! It comes in so many colors and really is the most beautiful bralette ever. It looks so feminine peeking out from sweaters, dresses, camis & tees! Sizing info-I'm wearing a small.
Jeans $64- These were my #1 jean pick besides the free people ones I got! Sadly, they didn't have my size in store & were sold out company wide (at 9am!) the day the sale opened! I have been keeping my eye on these daily, so if you see these come in stock grab them asap! Sizing info, these run small. I'm wearing my normal size here but needed the next size up.
Caslon Tee // Free People Jeans
Caslon Tee $17- This tee reminds me so much of the Madewell Tee! I prefer this white tee over the BP one because it wasn't sheer at all! The pink stole my heart too. I think this tee is a hidden gem from the sale! Sizing info, I'm wearing a medium.

Spanx Leggings (Nordstrom Link) (Amazon Link) $64- These faux leather leggings are magical! I won't go into too much detail since I constantly rave about them. They are normally $98 and rarely go on sale, so the sale is the best time to grab them! I love them dressed up & down. Sizing info, I wear a medium. I would go with your normal size.
Zella Leggings- Again, I think these are a must during the sale! I wear mine ALL the time! They are high waisted and suck you all in, which makes them the best mom legging. They are like an instant tummy tuck ;) Sizing info, I wear the small.
