Dress c/o Matilda Jane // Booties // Bows (15 pack for $11/ 6inch)

Happy Halloween Eve!! We can hardly wait for tomorrow's festivities! We are starting the day off by one last trip to the pumpkin patch then it's off to trick or treat. I might squeeze in one last pumpkin spice coffee #sobasic because the minute the clock strikes midnight on Nov 1st, we switch over to full blown Christmas mode!

But really I can't wait to see Kennedy in her costume tomorrow and go trick or treating. I keep telling Ty, I have a feeling this holiday season is going to be downright magical with the age she is at. 3 can have it's days, but it's been my favorite age so far!

Even though I am ready for Christmas time, I am still downright obsessed with all things fall fashion. I have been on a serious hunt for the perfect fall poncho! I knew exactly in my head what I wanted, but couldn't seem to find it anywhere. When I came across this one from Matilda Jane I was thrilled. The color palette stole my heart! It's also the softest, perfect for staying cozy in on cold days.

I love it styled with a basic tee and jeans. It would also look equally as cute over a bodycon dress for a more dressed up look! Because of the gorgeous fall colors, I think it would make the perfect Thanksgiving outfit option!

Not only does Matilda Jane have amazing pieces for women, they also have a darling  girls selection! I grabbed this little navy dress for Kennedy. I thought it would be the a great piece for us to twin because any chance I get to coordinate our outfits, I will :) The quality of her dress is amazing! It's so soft + the little flutter sleeves are an adorable touch. I also thought this mustard dress was so cute and would be a great option for family photos!

Thank you for stopping by!!

.Fall Scarf Review.

Happy Monday, ladies! Halloween week is here, which means Christmas
 is basically tomorrow ;)
We had a busy, busy weekend that went by in the blink of an eye! We did manage to squeeze in another stop at the pumpkin patch, so that's always a win! We also got to spend Sunday celebrating our niece (Kennedy's bestie) turning 4. She's almost exactly 6 months older than Kennedy, so it's crazy to think how big they are getting! If you're a new mom, they are not kidding when they say time flies!

Today I am trying something a little different that I am really excited about! Tis' the season for scarf shopping, so I thought I would make your life a little easier and do a review on 4 affordable options.  It's two parts, so head to my stories over on Instagram to see my try on  of all these scarves when you're done here (@kotineru).

Scarves are a great affordable way to mix up your wardrobe in fall and winter! Every fall I find myself adding a couple new scarves to my wardrobe. I typically grab at least one classic one that I know I will have for years, then also love to add in some fun trendy prints as well! That's my tip if you're on the fence about a certain trend (say leopard or camo) to test it out without investing a lot.

I also love scarves because here in Southern California it never gets too cold, but we can have some chilly mornings and nights. I'm all about layering! Scarves are an easy way to achieve a "fall" look but I also have the option to take them off as soon as the temps climb in the middle of the day ;) ...which btw it was 90 degrees today! I will welcome a cool down with arms wide open....but back to the scarves.....

 Scarf $12! // Sweater

Starting off with the most classic of the bunch. Also, you're not going to believe the price- $12! Even though it's more on the budget end, you are not sacrificing quality, I promise! It's super soft and cozy. It does come in two color options, but I love this neutral tones that are going on in this pattern. It makes it easy for pairing with just about anything.

This retailer actually has a lot of really great options right now! I have this one in my cart and you can never go wrong with this color palette for Christmas. Shopping tip-scarves makes great gifts too because you know they'll always fit! I tend to keep a couple extra on hand around Christmas in case I need to add one to a present.

Leopard is alllll the rage right now and this $19 scarf is the perfect piece to add to your wardrobe! It's lightweight and perfection for layering. I love the bold leopard print. I'm pretty picky about leopard print, like I mentioned on my stories, and this one is a winner!

This is a great one if you live somewhere where it's still a little (or a lot) warmer out. Pair with a lightweight tee or waffle knit top and you got yourself a fall look with the sweat, ha!

**update, this scarf is now sold out but I did find this leopard option that is also $19 + free shipping! I will keep my eye on a restock for the original one too!**

Camo Scarf currently 40% off! $17 (amazon option here $8 + prime
Jean JacketLong Sleeve Tee // Leggings only $24// Phone Case

Speaking of prints that are all the rage! Camo is popping up everywhere. Personally I am  huge fan, but I am picky about it just like I am with the leopard print. This scarf basically jumped in my cart when I spotted it! I love the more muted & soft tones it has going on.
Plus the scarf itself is very soft!

You can do a lot with it as far as styling and I am loving it with the denim jacket! It will also look great with cardigans or even with this little black casual dress.

Scarf $16 // Cardigan (splurge / save
Jeans // Boots (size up 1/2 size) // Phone Case

This leopard beauty stole my heart the moment I spotted it online! It's insanely soft and so warm! This would be an excellent option if you live somewhere where it gets really cold. In fact, I had a follower reach out and tell me she bought this and lives in Maine & it keeps her and her baby so cozy because it's basically like a blanket wrapped around your neck!

I also love the muted leopard tones going on. It pairs perfectly with neutrals. I also think it would look gorgeous styled with this coat or this coat!

Here is a couple more affordable, adorable options:

.September Top Ten.

I can hardly believe it's October! I swear the last couple months have flown by. I'm not complaining one bit because we are entering the most wonderful time of the year and the best 3 months. I do wish I could press pause though, because I'm sure it's going to go by entirely too fast! I'm looking forward to the holidays in a big way this year because Kennedy's at the BEST age!

Anyways, let's talk fashion! You girls weren't messing around this past month and showed up to shop. I thought it would be fun to do a round up of the top 10 purchase items from all of September! For those of you that don't know how affiliate links work, I'll give you a quick little run down.

Whenever you "swipe up" or click a link on my blog/like to know.it page, I can see whether or not a purchase is made. I don't know personal info like who made it or what exactly you purchased. I can just see the item that promoted you to shop! I also get a lot a feedback via DM on Instagram when you send me pictures wearing items or just share that you snagged something.

I love having this data because it lets me know what you ladies love! So let's get into it......

This $14 lace cami that comes in multiple colors was such an exciting find! I ended up purchasing the blush and styled it multiple ways this month. The lace adds that something-something to it that makes it easy for dressing up or equally looks as cute dressed down. It will basically look darling layered under everything season from a plaid blazer to an over sized chunky knit sweater! Sizing-I got a small, it runs big.

These tops are classics in my wardrobe every fall/winter! Tuck them, knot them or just wear layered and they always look pulled together. They are made of the softest fabric, not your typical flannel. I size up to a medium for a boyfriend fit.

This sweatshirt is cozy pullover perfection! When I found this in stores I was SO excited! It's the best dupe ever for the Abercrombie version and I honestly felt like I ended up loving it more. I sized up to a medium for a cozier fit. It also comes in a really pretty mauve color. The inside is lined with the same soft sherpa, so if you live somewhere cold, this pullover is made for you!

{#7} Taupe Tall Boots

Fabulous and under $40! I was so excited that you ladies loved these boots as much as I do. These boots look designer and are very comfortable. I suggest sizing up at least 1/2 a size and if you plan to wear thick socks, size up a whole size! They also come in a wide calf option.

When I say you girls are here to shop, this is proof! Nordstrom teased us with a little 2 hour flash sale on the miller sandals and for once it included my color 'Patent Sand'. A group of you were able to grab them very, very fast. YAY! I was cheering for you ;) It's always a good day when Miller's are on sale.  If you haven't grabbed a pair yet, I always suggest going up 1/2 a size for the best fit.

Outfit Details:

{#5} Pullover Swing Hoodie

Clearly we all have cozy on our minds! This pullover reminds me so much of something you'd find at a way higher price point. The gold detailing gave it a chic touch! I love it paired with my favorite joggers & jeans. It also comes in a couple other colors. I ended up sizing up to a medium for an over sized fit.

Outfit Details:

{#4} Dolman Shirt

This tee is one of the best basic finds ever! The color is so pretty for fall. It also comes in a striped version here. Something it took me a long time to learn is that if you have good basics to be the base of your wardrobe, it makes getting ready so much easier! I love having tops like this to throw on and go. Perfect for pairing with jeans, leggings, joggers, etc.
Sizing-I'm wearing a medium for a loose fit. I could have done a small. It runs tts, just depends how you want it to fit.

Outfit Details:

You girls went bananas for this sweater when I did the H&M try-on! It actually landed this sweater in the top 3 purchased for the year! It's only $19 + comes in 7 colors, so I can see why. I actually owned the gray last year and was thrilled to see it come back! It was out of stock, but it's back and you can grab it here. Sizing-I got a small, it runs over sized.

Outfit Details:

{#2} Camo Pullover

I think we established that we were all shopping for over sized pullovers this month! This one is so perfect because it's long enough for leggings and looks great styled with jeans. It has been so popular that it comes in and out of stock. It's currently in stock in most sizes + 30% off #yay It runs very over sized, so I highly suggest going down at least one size. I'm wearing the small.

{#1} Pull-On Distressed Jeans...aka MAGIC JEANS!

Ahhh the magic jeans! How did we live without these in our lives?! Seriously these are a game changer. If you're a new mom, or heck anyone that doesn't love their mid-section you'll LOVE these! They are crazy flattering. They also come in a black version that I tried on last week that you can find here. Fun fact, you girls loved these so much they are now the top seller of the year!! That's saying something ;) Sizing- they run tts and I have my normal size.
