Kennedy:
Floral Headband, c/o Lovely Felt // Dress & Pink Outfit, Marshalls {both purchased a long time ago. Love this option & this dress} //  Moccs, c/o Sweet N' Swag {love these too!}

This flower crown!! Guys, I just can't with how stinkin' precious it is!! I absolutely adore all the gold details with the blush flowers. Lovely Felt is the sweetest shop if you're looking for floral pieces for your mini!! I have been pairing this crown with all Kennedy's outfits! Because let's be honest, what doesn't it go with?! She also carries clips and single flower headbands if that's more your thing. I love this hot pink option for summer!! Make sure you follow their Instagram page so you can keep up with all the adorable new arrivals. Fair warning, you're going to want every single thing!!

Psst...word on the street is that they are also going to be launching a mommy & me flower crown set soon!!

Also, I've said it once and I'll say it again...If you live in the San Diego area and you're looking for a photographer, you need to book James Nicolau!! This is the third time we have had the honor of shooting with him. He's always able to capture the most amazing shots of Kennedy. Truthfully, she was being very stubborn this day & really didn't want her picture taken. She would much rather have been exploring and eating ice, haha. James and his wife were so patience and really captured some of my favorite pictures of her!!

I've looked at these pictures about thousand times and the one thing that gets me is how grown up looking Kennedy is now! I don't notice it on a day to day basis, but she is not looking like my little baby anymore. It's so hard to believe that she turned 11 months yesterday! Watching her grow is such a delight & we fall more in love with her every single day!!

Happy Thursday!!

.Wedding Wednesday, Blink Lash Boutique.

Tyler and I have been engaged for about 4 months now. It feels like it was just yesterday! Truthfully, I have been slacking as far as planning anything. Kennedy's first birthday is right around the corner and I wanted to focus on that. While I haven't locked down any ceremony or venue details, I have been thinking about things that will make my bridal journey more glam. Not just glam, but services or items that will make things go smoother!

I thought it would be fun to start a "Wedding Wednesday" series. It will be where I occasionally share with you guys things that I have been trying or purchased. If you have anything you want reviewed or want to hear about specifically, feel free to shoot me an email (kaylaotineru@gmail.com) or leave me a comment on here or Instagram.

I'm going to start with one of my all time favorite subjects, mascara and lashes! If I could only pick one beauty item for the rest of my life it would be mascara! I always feel more awake once I have my lashes on. The only downside to that is that I normally spend about 10 plus minutes actually doing them daily. At 5:30am that's way too much time to be doing my makeup, I could be spending that extra 10 minutes in bed ;) In all seriousness, now that I have Kennedy, every second is precious time and quite frankly I don't always want to spend them doing my lashes!

Thankfully, one of my family members introduced me to Blink Lash Boutique! She's been going to them for years and always raves about Blink. Not to mention her lashes always look fabulous! After lusting over her gorgeous lashes for way too long, I finally took the plunge and got extensions!

My experience with Blink was nothing short of amazing. Their salon is adorable! There's girly details everywhere, from the pink rug, to the crystal chandelier. I had the privilege of having their stylist Samantha apply my lashes. She was a delight and happened to have a little girl not much older than Kennedy, so we were able to chat the whole time. The whole process took about an hour & half since I was having a whole set put on. It felt like a spa day being able to lay there uninterrupted and just relax and get pampered.

I went with the "blush" package for my lashes and it included 60 lashes per eye! To say I was thrilled with the finished product would be an understatement!! They look so amazing. I couldn't stop looking at them. The amazement hasn't stopped 11 days later when I get to wake up every morning and they still look fabulous. I can finally say #iwokeuplikethis :) The excitement hasn't worn off when I realize every morning that I don't have to do my lashes!!

I highly recommend that if you're interested in getting eyelash extension, you call Blink Lash Boutique for an appointment! They have two location in San Diego. One in Mission Valley (that's where I went) and another salon in Solana Beach. They're also having some incredible Spring promotions going on so it would be the perfect time! The set I got (the blush) normally retails for $199, but it's only $125 right now! If you're looking for a more natural look, they also have the "bashful" set with 35 lashes per eye for only $75! Such a crazy deal! With Mother's Day right around the corner, it would be the perfect gift to ask for :)

(This photo was taken by James Nicolau the next day! I have zero mascara on!!)

.White Cut Out Tunic.

Kayla
Tunic, c/o Shein // Jeans, old {similar in grey & only $16.99!} // Flats, c/o The Shopping Bag // Sunnies, Ray-Ban // Bracelets, c/o Heart Tribe, J.Crew // Lips, MAC 'Lickable'

Kennedy

Happy Tuesday, loves! I hope everyone had an amazing Easter with their loved ones. This year was by far the best Easter ever. Kennedy's at such a fun age and watching her truly enjoy all her treats and family was the greatest!! In the morning when we brought out her basket, she spotted her Mini Mouse doll and started clapping! If that doesn't make your heart melt, I don't know what will! It's hard to believe that was her last "first" holiday and she'll be 11 months tomorrow!!

This tunic! I posted about it {here} on Instagram a couple weeks back saying I couldn't stop wearing it. I'm happy to report, that hasn't changed! It's one of those pieces that I love having in my wardrobe because I can wear it for any occasion. I've worn it to work, on a date, going shopping and out to dinner. Every single time I wear it, I fall more in love. I've always been a tunic and skinny jeans gal and this one may be my absolute favorite I've ever worn! It's such great quality at an even better price point.

I got SO many questions on Snapchat when I wore it. Mostly about fit because it's always scary when you order from places overseas. I am wearing a medium and it fits perfectly. I've said it before, but always make sure you read the measurements when ordering from Shein. You can't just go off the size you would normally wear...trust me!

.Funny Bunny.

Kennedy
Bunny Ears Clip, c/o Little Kate Designs {headband version} // Dress, c/o Eighteenthandbliss  follow along on their Instagram! // Shoes, Old Navy

Kayla
Midi Skirt, Forever 21 {red & black version , blue & white} // Pink Blouse, Older {cute long sleeve version } // Necklace, c/o Harper & Jewels // Bracelets, c/o Harper & Jewels, J.Crew, c/o Heart Tribe // Flats, c/o The Shopping Bag // Lipstick, MAC 'Creme Cup'

Do you just die over her cheesy little smile in the last picture or what?! I'm not going to sugar coat it, taking photos with a VERY active 10 month is not the easiest thing! She has so many better things to do than sit still and smile for the camera! Lol I get excited when we don't get a blurry picture these days!

Speaking of active, Kennedy took her first two steps this weekend!! We were lucky enough to catch it on camera too. It was so exciting and we are so proud of our little bunny, but I know that our world is about to be flipped upside down!! I'm not ready for her to be that mobile. On the plus side, I guess I'll be getting a workout everyday chasing after her ;)

I purchased this skirt back in January when I was looking for something to wear to our friend's wedding. I was looking for a dress, but decided to try this midi skirt just in case. Guys, that's when my love affair started. Why have I not been wearing midi skirts all these years?! I feel like I have been missing out. I love this particular print so much because the black and white stripes are so versatile. Unfortunely, I can't find this exact color online, but the same skirt in red & black is available. I also found a cute blue and white that I love for summer that I linked for you guys as well!

With Easter just a couple weeks away, be prepared for Kennedy to be wearing all things bunny! I can't help myself, it's just too darn cute. These little ears from Little Kate Desings just melt my heart! They also carry a headband version if your little one doesn't have hair. Kennedy barely had enough for them to stay!

Oh and I definetly have to mention this too cute for words bunny dress! The bunnys that are on it are so adorable!! There's even one wearing sunglasses. It's fun, sassy, and sweet! Make sure to check out their Instagram to see what sizes they have left and get it ordered so you have it in time for Easter!!

Happy Monday, Friends! I hope it's short & your coffee is strong :)

.Old Navy Sale Too Good Not To Share.

Well ladies, if you love Old Navy as much as I do, prepare to freak out!! Or maybe just do a happy dance all the way to your computer and prepare to spend all your money...just kidding...well kind of!

 Old Navy is having basically the best sale and it's too good not to share!! They are currently having 40% off of babies/kids clothes. Which in itself is great, but you can get another 30% off!! If you're not quick at math that's 70%!!! All you have to do it use the code: FLYKIDS for the 40% off & register an email with them for the 30%. They'll send you an email with the code. Make sure to enter the FLYKIDS code first or it won't work!

 I quickly linked up all my top picks that I'm swooning over for Kennedy!  You better believe I currently have an over flowing online cart that is about to make Kennedy one stylish little girl!

P.S. If you have a little one that still fits in  9 months, these were my all time favorite sleepers for Kennedy! They usually don't let you use coupons on them either! I really recommend you get all the colors ;) I would if she still fit in them.

Happy Shopping!

.Crochet Dress.

Dress, c/o Shein // Sandals, old {love these!} // Sunnies, Ray-Ban {fun option for $7}

Our first night leaving Kennedy for over 24 hours this past weekend was a success! Laguna Beach was beautiful and our friend’s birthday fiesta was a blast. His fiance did such an amazing job with party planning, all the way down to the last detail. It was like her Pinterest board came to life. There was even churro popcorn. It was as delicious as it sounds!! Also, my 17 year old self was beyond thrilled when we ran into Kristen Cavallari Saturday night at a random bar. I was a huge Laguna Beach & The Hills fan back in the day. She was extremely nice too!

Ever since Tyler & I got engaged I have been craving little white dresses. Whenever I am browsing online lately, I find myself gravitating towards them. This particular one caught my eye right away and I knew I had to have it. I adore the style and know that this dress will be getting a lot wear well into summer.

My particular sandals are not available, but I found the cutest studded pair that I linked above! They're almost an exact dupe for the ever so popular (and insanely expensive) Valentino studded sandals. They're only $32!! Got to love when you find budget pieces like these. I just ordered them so I will give you a full review once I wear them.

Below I rounded up a couple other dresses from Shein that I'm crushing on. They are really getting me ready for Spring!

.Boho Floral Dress.

Dress, c/o Hallie Jane Boutique // Sandals, Nordstrom // Hat, Nordstrom {can't stop wearing!}

Kennedy: Bow, c/o Everly Avenue  // Pacifier Clip, c/o Loved By Sophia Claire

I'm not typically the kind of gal that runs around town in a hat! The only hat you'd catch me in, is my baseball cap I throw on when working out (once a year haha) or running errands. Hats tend to intimidate me! I've never felt like I was "cool" enough to pull off the look. Well that all changed when I crossed paths with this beauty at Nordstrom a couple weeks back. I was just looking around really quick when I tried this hat on for fun. I immediately fell in love! It wasn't until I noticed the price, $16 that I knew I was getting it. I figured for that price, I could bring it home and give it a try. I'm happy to report that I've worn it almost every single day since!! Forget the mom bun, bring on all the hats :)

Out of all the outfits I have worn this hat with, I think my favorite is it paired with this dress! It's almost like the two were made for each other. It gives off a boho vibe that I love for spring. I also adore the loose fit of this dress. I wore it for a family day at the beach paired with cognac sandals. I also think it would be adorable paired with mules or booties for a date night!

*Fit details*
I was personally a little hesitant about ordering this dress. I'm always between a small and medium. I was afraid that if I ordered a small it would be too short, but if I ordered a medium it would be too baggy. I talked to the sweet girls over at Hallie Jane and I went with a medium and it fits perfectly! So if you're on the fence, feel free to shoot them an email & they'll be happy to help!

Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday & weekend. Tyler and I are headed up the coast for a dear friend's 30th birthday party. It will be the first time we leave Kennedy for 24 hours and I'm totally having mixed feelings. I'm sure a tear or two will be shed, but I am looking forward to spending quality time with Tyler. I'm really excited about the drive up. I've always been a fan of road trips. There's something about a handsome man to your left, a yummy coffee in your hand, and great music on. Speaking of coffee, if you have any recommendations for good coffee shops in the Laguna area, I'd love to know :)
