Hello there love bugs!! I hope everyone is off to a fantastic start this week. I apologize for the little break I took last week! I came down with a horrible cold that had me in bed sleeping most of the week!! Now that that's over and I'm feeling human, I'm back! Truth is, I really missed interacting with all of you!! But trust me, there was nothing glamorous going on around here, just a lot of sniffling and sleeping!
As luck would have it, I woke up Saturday morning feeling pretty much like my normal self, just in time for a fabulous event we have had planned for months! My amazing grandmother is turning 70 this month so all the ladies in my family got together to throw her a tea party. It was the perfect afternoon filled with celebrating, laughing, reminiscing about growing up, love, and just down right great girl time. Now that we are all getting older, it's very rare to get all of us daughters and granddaughters get together at once, but when we do it really is a great time and moments that I treasure!!
After tea was over a couple of us decided to pop in this little boutique next door to check out their new arrivals. I was helping my mom and cousin look for outfits for their upcoming events and not even looking for myself when I stumbled upon this blazer. It was absolute fate, the only one and in my size! Since it has been so hot here lately, I almost thought about not getting it. But then I was thinking it would be a great transitional piece for fall and I would most likely kick myself for not buying it later. You know they say "Nothing haunts us more than the clothes we didn't buy!"....so true!! I also couldn't get the image of the blazer paired with this hot pink wrap dress, from Belle Boutique, out of my mind. The two are seriously the perfect pair! The only thing I'm a little bummed about is that the blazer hides the gorgeous flutter sleeves. This dress is a summer must have for every girl!!
Last but most certainly not least, I have to talk about this beyond stunning necklace from accessory concierge! Holy swoon!! This necklace seriously stole my heart. It's the definition of the perfect bib necklace!!
