I can't believe it's taken me this long to try this top on! They have always been out of it in my size. Well, I quickly fell in love with it after trying it on. It's such a classic. I also love how it's tunic length so you can tie it up for a more flattering look!

I can't tell you how excited I was that they had these in the store!! I was dying to review these when I saw them online. I'm glad I was able to try them on too, because you need to make sure you size down. I originally tried the medium on and I was drowning in them.  I really do love these! The fit is comfortable and flattering. If you're looking for a budget pair (especially while on sale) these are them!!

As the temps rise here in San Diego, I find myself reaching for dresses! This one is perfect for summer. It's so soft, flattering, and just easy to throw on and go! It comes in solids and other stripes too. I thought the red was cute with Memorial Day & The 4th of July coming up. It would also make a great bump friendly option for you pregnant mamas.

This white denim jacket is amazing as well! It reminds me of the light wash one I have and wear non-stop! I seriously wore it everyday we were in Disneyland! If you're looking for a white one, this is a great option and it's only $28 with the 30% off!

Every year I grab a pair of linen shorts from Old Navy. This year they have some fun options. I loved the tassels and detailing. They also come in a chambray. And this is the top I tried on in a recent try on (in black & white stripes). These are great basics if you want more of a fitted look!

This top came home with me because I couldn't risk it selling out with out me getting my hands on it! It's so sweet with the ruffle detailing and extremely soft! I'll be styling this little top all summer long.

It's here, it's here! Opalhouse officially launched this morning on Target and it's safe to say that the brand did not disappoint. The resemblance to the Anthro's home line is unreal. But the best part is that everything is budget friendly! I spent the morning going through the whole collection (there's 583 pieces!) and rounding up my absolute favorite pieces! The throw pillows, kitchen items, and mirrors seem to be the best deals and crazy gorgeous!! 

Yesterday I browsed the line in store (and went live on Instagram) and got to see a handful of it in person. The quality is amazing and I really think this might be their nicest collection they have launched to date. They only had a small fraction in store though. There is so much more online!

If you're shopping the line, I'd love to know what you are crushing on! The fiddle leaf tree and this blush chair are at the top of my wish list.

This sale is so good that they only do this a couple times a year. I think the last time was around the holidays! This is the time to grab the higher priced items you have had your eye on. These bow slides are what originally started my order, but then I had to add the wedge version too in the blush because they're so perfect! They remind me of the Kate Spade ones that were very popular, but a fraction of the cost! They come to $22 with the 40% off sale. I can't wait to style both of these!!

I finally grabbed this top!! I sized up to a medium so I could front tuck or tie on the side. I adore the cropped bell sleeves and of course the classic stripes! It also comes in solids.

I fell in love with this dress, like madly in love when I tried it on! They didn't have my size so I ordered it last week. It's the perfect summer dress! It runs really big, so I suggest sizing down. It also comes in a pink striped version.

This dress is the same style as the striped one, but the softest tencel fabric! If you're an olive lover then this is the dress for you! It's gorgeous and it makes you look so tan ;)....always a plus! It would be so cute styled with the miller sandals for a casual look!

Hands down two of my favorites from the whole spring line! This dress has my heart and I get excited every time I wear it. If blush isn't your jam, it comes in an olive and chambray. It's crazy soft! I love the blazer because you throw it over just about anything! Dress it up with a dress (like I'm wearing) or throw it over a luxe tee and jeans.

No post talking about Old Navy would be complete without me mentioning my favorite tees ever! If you haven't grabbed these soft, amazing tees yet then you are missing out. They are my go to and chances are if you watch my stories then you already know how obsessed with them I am, lol. I wear a medium in them for an oversized look and usually tie them to the side. They come in solids and stripes. The best part is they wash really well and don't shrink or fade!

Happy Monday, friends! Hard to believe another weekend has come and gone. Tyler has been working so much overtime (he wasn't off all weekend) so the days have been kind of blurring together! But we still managed to sneak in a little family fun! I also got the opportunity to attend Influence San Diego yesterday. It was so fun to spend the afternoon with other San Diego Boss Babes! I left feeling extremely inspired and proud to live in such an amazing city filled with like minded, bad a** babes.

Now on to a little Valentine's Day inspired style....

Mommy + Mini shoots are my absolute favorite....well the finished product! Sometimes the behind the scenes is a tiny bit chaotic to say the least! oh well, I figure one thing I will never regret once Kennedy is older is taking a million photos!! Timehop actually reminded me of our shoot we did two years (here) and I couldn't believe how much she has changed. Side note, Samantha is basically a saint when it comes to taking photos of Kennedy, if you're in San Diego and looking for someone! 

You guys have heard me gush about the perfect shirt almost daily, but a month later and I'm still loving it just as much as the first time I tried it on! I noticed they added more colors too. It's hard to narrow down which one I want next, but the red and thick striped version are at the top of my list for sure! 

Kennedy's little dress was a must have for me when I went in Old Navy a couple weeks ago. I loved that it was pink so it would work for Valentine's, but it will also be something she can wear all Spring. And the gold flats are here favorite shoes at the moment, she says they're her princess slippers....heart melted! 

What are your plans for Valentine's Day? We always have a pretty low key Valentine's Day and this year will be no different, especially because it lands in the middle of the week. We have a tradition of making a cheese plate and having a glass of wine once we put Kennedy down! A cheese plate is always the way to my heart.

.Target Try-On // Universal Thread Launch.

Happy Monday, friends! This weekend went by in the blink of an eye. It was pretty jam packed with fun activities from dress up + playing tea parties with Kennedy (her fav right now) , a 50th birthday party, and of course Super Bowl. I'm not a sports person, Kennedy and I go for the snacks and good company ;)

 I also found a new show that I have been staying up way too late to watch! If you are looking for a new show to binge, you have to watch Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. I spent most of Friday night laughing my booty off watching it! 

If you followed my stories on Instagram this past weekend (@kotineru) then you know Target released a new line (Universal Thread) online and I went and tried on basically everything! Except the jeans...they are not good quality and truthfully weren't even worth talking about. The line was giving me Anthropologie, Madewell, and Free People vibes. I originally posted all this to IG stories, but figured you might want this post to reference.

Striped Ruffle Sleeve Tee $17 {size medium}

This was the first piece that caught my eye when I walked in the store! I adore the thick stripes and the shade of blue....oh and of course those ruffle sleeves!! It's on the cropped side, so I opted for a medium. I love it tucked in or paired with shorts. I did find it to be a little unflattering untucked, but that could just be me. This was one of my favs for sure! 

Mid Rise Midi Shorts $16 {size 4}

I mentioned that I wasn't a fan of the actual denim line from Universal Thread, but their shorts are an exception! These shorts are everything I love in a good pair of shorts. Great length & just enough stretch! I couldn't believe they are only $16...I will be wearing this all summer! If you're not a fan of shorty shorts, I recommend these. I also saw this pair which wasn't available in my size. They looked darling on the hanger though! 

Tie Front Pullover $22 {size medium}

I thought this sweater was so chic! The tie front was different than any other knit sweaters I've seen all season and totally give it something extra. This also comes in lilac that would be pretty for spring with white jeans! Another way I would style this would be with distressed denim shorts and these slides. Totally a San Diego Winter style outfit! 

Midi Button Front Dress $27 {size small}

FAVORITE piece from the entire collection!! This dress is so dreamy and perfection for spring/summer! It totally reminded me of something you would find at Anthro for 7x the price. I tried it on in an xsmall because that's all they had at my store. I ordered it in the small and I'm hoping that I love it just as much! FYI, the buttons are functional so it will totally work for you nursing moms!

Striped Tank Dress $19 {size medium}

Another dress that I fell in love with for the warmer months. This dress was so lightweight and easy. It gets SO hot here during the middle of summer all the way to Thanksgiving, I look for pieces like this that I can wear when we are lounging that are still cute. You can throw it over your bathing suit when you're at the lake or pool. I also love that you can pair it will sandals, I find that the Tory Burch Miller Sandals (my favs!) make it look a little more dressed up instead of flip flops. I was thinking too, it would look adorable paired with sneakers and a hat with a denim jacket! Basically it's the perfect little dress to add to your wardrobe for $19! 

Button Up Twill Shirt $19 {size medium}

This top is crazy soft! It also comes in an olive color, but the blush is what I was loving. You can pair this with jeans now and shorts later as it warms up. Or you could it even leave it unbuttoned over a dress! Maybe even the striped cotton dress-SO cute! 

Embroidered Tassel Tank $19  {size small} 

This tank is darling! The detailing is so pretty and I love that it has the adjustable tassels. Another great option that you layer now under a cardigan or jean jacket and pair with shorts when it warms up. The quality on this tank was amazing too! 

Short Sleeve Plaid Button Up $17 {size medium}

This little top was in my top three from the line! It's reminds me of summer in all the right ways! I love that it's red, white + blue! The perfect little patriotic top for Memorial Day and the 4th of July. It also would look pretty cute with white jeans and these booties. 

I'd love to know what you are thinking of the line and if you have any favorites! So far, I'm impressed with everything, the only downfall being the denim. I'm sure that will change as they release new pieces since everything is so new!
