I bought this top weeks ago when I was doing one of my Forever 21 shopping trips. I tucked it away knowing that I had to find the perfect skirt or summer shorts to pair it with. I seriously searched high and low, scoured the internet, checked every boutique in San Diego, but still nothing was doing it for me.  Last weekend, I was doing yet again another Forever 21 shopping trip, when I came across this gorgeous eyelet blush skirt. I knew immediately I had found the perfect match. The two together are the epitomite of dainty and girly. This outfit is just so lovely. It makes me think outdoor summer tea party or perfect for a bridal shower. Which, did I mention, my best friend got engaged recently?! So I’m sure I will have plenty of excuses to wear this combo in the near feature!!

Today's finally the day when Tyler & leave for Vegas!! I am so excited I can hardley contain myself. I'm sure you will hear all about it next week, but in the meantime you can always follow along on Instagram!

I'm always on the search for the perfect white summer dress. I almost died when I found this dress for $16.99 at TJ Maxx last week!!  I have so many places I plan on wearing this dress! It's the perfect dress to have on hand for any occasion, fancy or not! This past weekend I wore it to wine tasting with Tyler and my cousin, who is leaving for Europe to study abroad, so there was lots of celebrating going on. This was the most ideal dress to do it in. It looks adorable and was beyond comfortable all day long.

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! Most of our weekend was really laid back, which  I was really happy about!  This weeks going to be crazy and jam packed before we leave for Vegas on Thursday!! I'm counting down the minutes till we are on that plane!

My birthday was this past Friday and it was perfect! I woke up to the house decorated and a plate of my favorite pink sprinkled donuts. Then my mom picked me up and we spent the day doing some of my favorite things. We shopped, had lunch at Nordstrom Cafe, and got blowouts at Dry Bar. If you haven't been there, I highly suggest you make an appointment ASAP. I got to sip on champagne while I caught up on Instagram and indulged in my favorite gossip magazines. It was the absolute perfect way to spend my birthday :) Later that night I meet up with my friends for margaritas and mexican food in Old Town. I really couldn't have asked for a better day!

I also couldn't have asked for a more perfect party dress. When I spotted this neon number at Charlotte Russe it was love at first sight! Fun, flirty, and to top it off made me look really tan! I was going to pair it with some strappy nude heels but I just couldn't pass up the oppurtunity of pairing it with bright pink pumps. Hey, it was my birthday and I'll wear head-to-toe pink if I want to!

Whooo, it's my birthday!! Cue the champs & confetti!! While I am huge a fan of birthday's and celebrating every moment of it, turning twenty-seven was not something I was too excited about. Twenty seven, that just sounds old! Age is just a state of mind, right? I truly feel like I'm still 21....Forever 21 :) With my birthday being here, I've been reflecting and this past year has been of the greatest. I owe a lot of it to this little blog. I started A Darling Dream 6 months ago because I knew I wanted to pursue something in the fashion industry. Little did I know what I was getting myself into. It is so much more than that. I have worked with some incrediable business women, friendships have been formed and every single day I am blown away by the love and support all my readers show me. I love each and every one of you so much and appreciate you more than you'll ever know.

Talk about a serious heat wave! It has been hovering around 100 degrees here the past couple days. It's felt like 150 outside! While I am inside most of the day, due to my job, when I get home all I have been wanting to wear is a romper. They're so easy & comfortable. This one in particular I picked up for an upcoming Vegas trip we have planned. I thought it would be perfect to slip into a romper after a long day at the pool for some gambling  shopping! Wear it with some sandals or sky high wedges, either way I love it.

 I've always had a thing for all things vintage. A perfect day to me would be a soy cappuccino in my hand, my good girlfriends by my side, and blocks & blocks of vintage stores waiting for us to conquer. While most of the time I am searching for teacups or milk glass, I always have my eyes peeled for unique jewelry pieces. The only downfall is that when I do find pieces, they are usually ridicioulisy over priced. Since I'm not willing to spend my monthly budget on one piece of jewelry, I like to find modern pieces that have a vintage feel. This necklace from Accessory Jane is the perfect find! Pineapples & peplum, match made in outfit heaven! Well, at least in mine. Over the past couple months I've been noticing pineapple print popping up all over the place. From cute accessories, to printed pants, I knew I had to get my hands on something covered in this adorable print! As always, Target did it again! The moment I laid eyes on this button up, I knew it was going to have a forever home in my wardrobe.

When it came to accessorizing this outfit, it was a no brainier. I knew my neon edens leaf bracelet, from Socal Gems, was going to look perfect with the pineapples! I love that this bracelet has a touch of neon while still looking classy & vintage. A tough look to pull off but this bracelet nailed it.
