.Fall Fashion In The Valley.

Hi Loves!!

It's no secret that I'm dying for fall to be here already! I wanted to tell you about a fun event that is happening tonight to celebrate the arrival of fall and all the amazing trends that come along with it. If you live in San Diego you do not want to miss this! Fashion Valley will be hosting two fashion shows, a beauty garden and fitness demonstrations. The best part, if you donate a minimum $10 to Rady Children's Hospital you will receive a shopping pass valid through the weekend that works at designated stores. Shopping and giving back, I can't think of a better reason to shop! The event will be held at the center court near Macy's and starts at 5:30. Fashion Valley has been my favorite mall since I was a little girl so I'm beyond excited about this event! I can't wait to get inspired and hopefully see a couple of you there :)

.Fall Colors.

Blouse, c/o Fabulous Finds Boutique // Jeans, Jcrew {old, loving these -under $60! & these} // Flats, Forever 21 {last seen here} // Necklace, c/o Moose & Nigel // Bracelets, Jcrew & c/o Kute N' Klever // Sunnies, Karen Walker // Nails, Essie 'Marshmallow' // Lips, L'Oreal 'Fuchsia Orchestra'

As much as I wish and pray for fall to show itself, I think it's going to be a couple weeks, maybe a month, before we get a serious cool down here in Southern California. Last week we were hoovering around 104 for most of the week!! Since this nasty heat wave has delayed my favorite fall wardrobe and has me still wearing summer clothing, I have had to get creative with making small changes to make it feel like I'm enjoying fall. I immediately knew I needed to add this blouse with shopping online. I'm loving the rich and deep colors. It's also still cool or I can layer it when it does cool down. The blouse is also super versatile and will equally be just as cute for winter. How perfect would it look with black skinnies, a blazer and boots?! If you're looking for a top that's a bang for your buck, I think I found it!

Druzy, a word that was once foreign to me, but now I can't get enough of. This gorgeous gem stone necklace, from Moose & Nigel, has been stealing the spot light from my typical jewels. From the light pink shade, to the fun tassel, it goes with everything! Weather I'm wearing a simple tee or going a little more glam with this blouse, it completes every look. I highly recommend you get your hands on one. They carry just about every color and to make it a little better, I even have a coupon code for you...ADARLINGDREAM10 for 10% off everything in their shop! Can't beat that :)

.#BeTheGood.

Shirt, c/o Jane.com & Cents Of Style // Skirt, Forever 21 {not online, similar here} // Necklace, c/o Accessory Jane // Bracelets, Jcrew {not online, similar here}, Brina Box & Forever 21 // Sunnies, Karen Walker // Flats, Forever 21 {obsessed!They run small, I went up 1/2 a size}

Hello Loves,

I have been challenged by Jane.com and Cents of Style to #BeTheGood. Challenge accepted! What an awesome opportunity to do something, big or small, for another person. Through this challenge I chose to donate dog beds to our local animal shelter!

I can't tell you how near and dear helping animals is to my heart. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved animals, big & small. I can't remember a time in my life that we didn't have a dog, cat or some type of fluffy creature :) When I accepted this challenge from Jane.com & Cents Of Style, I knew immediately that I wanted my good deed to have something to do with animals. A little secret, everyday I spend about an hour stalking Yorkie Rescue of America's website searching for our little baby that we will give a forever home to. Tyler and I have also been stopping by the locals shelters too to see if we can find the perfect match. Every time I go my heart breaks a little. I want to take all the puppies & kitties home with us. What makes me super sad is that they are usually sleeping on the cold or hot, pee soaked concrete. While I know it's not realistic for us to take every little furry baby home, I started thinking how I could help. When I made the decision to donate beds I couldn't wait to get down there and make a difference. I can't tell you how thankfully the ladies in the front office were for the beds! It brought so much joy to my heart and has inspired me to make a commitment to do this more often. Just knowing that I will make puppies more comfortable while they wait to be adopted makes me happy beyond belief! I want to thank Jane.com & Cents of Style for challenging me and helping me do good!!

I challenge all of you to take a part in this movement and spread goodness throughout! I also personally challenge my girlfriend Kylie Rose @ Absolutely Arkansas & Mary-Katherine @ Gold Hatted Lover. Good luck my friends... you have 24hrs to complete a service or act of kindness.

See below for details:

1. Choose a good deed. Could be as simple as paying for the coffee after yours.

2. Share your goods. Pick your favorite social channel (Facebook, Instagram, Vine, Twitter, etc.),
but first, make sure to take a selfie (or something appropriate to your story), and share your
story, big or small. Be sure to use these hashtags to help this campaign spread: #BeTheGood
#JaneCares and #CentsofStyle. You’ll see your story featured at http://Jane.com/bethegood

3. Tag 1-5 of your friends to do the same within a 24 hr period.

4. Look stylish while doing it! Jane.com and Cents of Style are selling some super cute

#BeTheGood T-shirts on Jane.com. All profits made will be donated to Girls Inc. an organization

that inspires girls to be strong, smart and bold.

Good Luck Girls!

XOXO, Kayla

.Fall Romping.

Romper, c/o Belle Boutique // Flats, Forever 21 // Sunnies, Anthropologie  {not online, dying for these!}//  Purse, Rebecaa Minkoff // Necklace, c/o Socal Gems // Bracelets, Jcrew {not online, similar}, Jcrew, c/o Sage. K. & Co., c/o Teal House Collection // Nails, Essie 'Cascade Cool'

I don't even know how to put into words how perfect this romper is! We all know I'm a little romper obsessed. My last two outfit post have featured rompers. What can I say, I know what I love :) The reason I have fallen head over heels in love with this one is the color. It's the perfect shade of green that will also transition into fall and winter perfectly. I can already picture it with a pair of booties and black polka dot tights. It's also super soft and feels very high-end. I love that's it's so cute and stylish, but it is also beyond comfortable.

Good news! This necklace, that I clearly can't get enough of, was just restocked!! Go grab yours before they sell out again. I am not exaggerating when I say it goes with everything. You'll have to stop yourself from wearing it.

Happy Friday!! Thank goodness for a short work week. I've been ready for the weekend since we went back to work on Tuesday, ha! I think it has to do with the fact that I have major #FOMO going on over not being at New York Fashion Week!! I'm dying seeing all the pictures on Instagram. Oh well, next year....fingers crossed :)

.Ladies Night.

Romper, Forever 21 // Jacket {not online, loving this this} // Booties, c/o Belle Boutique {not online, almost identical} // Sunnies, Ray-Ban // Necklace, Shoplately // Bracelets, Jcrew, c/o Sage K. & Co.Jcrew // Lips, Mac 'Saint Germain' & Maybelline Color Elixir gloss 'Radiant Bloom'

Today I'm teaming up with my girl Kylie from Absolutely Arkansas to do our take on the perfect "Ladies Night" look. She's a genius when it comes to doing makeup and hair, so she'll have you covered in that department, while I'll be talking about the ideal outfit. In addition to being one of my fav YouTube makeup gurus, Kylie is hands down the craftiest girl I know!! My mom and I seriously die over her DIY projects. If you aren't already following her blog, stop what you're doing right now and go check it out. You won't regret it. I promise you'll be running to home depot in the next hour to recreate some of her adorable projects. My personal favorite being these upholstered stools!!

Now on to the outfit I chose for ladies night out. I live in dresses and rompers during the hot months, so it was only natural that I picked this ruffled romper. I was instantly drawn to it because of the over sized ruffles and the gorgeous color. I thought it would be the perfect romper to dress up and wear at night. I love the way it looks with the polka dot blazer and black booties. I don't know about you, but when I go out with my girlfriends it usually includes wine and lots & lots of dancing!! These booties are seriously perfect for that because they look adorable, but are still extremely comfortable. There's nothing worse than your feet hurting so bad and to top it off you have to be that girl that leaves barefoot, we've all been there :) I pulled the look together with a pink lip and what else, lots and lots of jewels!! Because no fun outfit is complete without them!! I love that this outfit is so versatile. It could be worn for wine tasting, a nice dinner party or even out dancing! Don't forget to check out Kylie's makeup & hair look {here} so you can get some inspiration for your next ladies night out!

I hope everyone had an amazing Labor Day weekend!! Ours started on Friday night downtown for dinner and drinks with Tyler's family. Saturday we went brunching & checked out the farmer's market. Padres game followed by a BBQ on Sunday and some much needed relaxation on Monday. It was such a great three day weekend!! As always, thank you so much for stopping by!!!

XOXO, Kayla
