.Yes Way Rose.

Shirt, c/o Kute N' Klever {on sale!}|| Jeans, Old Navy  || Jacket, old-similar option here || Booties, c/o Miss Match || Watch, c/o Christian Paul || Bracelet, J.Crew ||
Sunnies, Karen Walker || Nails, Essie 'Chasity'

Kennedy
 Shirt, Target || Leggings, Old Navy || Shoes, c/o Mon Petit Shoes || Bow, Little Poppy Co.

No matter what time of year it is, I'm always crushing on graphic tees. Add in pink detailing and my favorite sassy saying, then I can almost guarantee that I will wear it non-stop!! I love how you can easily dress them up with a blazer or paired with a fun skirt, or you can throw it on with your fav jeans or shorts {as seen here}. Both looks equally just as cute!

If you're looking for fun festive graphic tees, Kute N' Klever just released their holiday line. I'm loving this snowman sweater & this santa hat sweater! Both would be perfect for any holiday party or event you have coming up. The snowman sweater would be adorable paired with a white tulle skirt & a bold red lip.

I also wanted to mentioned that Kute N' Klever just released their holiday line and it's so good! Like you're going to want everything good. My personal favorite is this black ruffle sleeve blouse! I'm dying over those sleeves!! The holiday line is selling out quick, so make sure to follow along on Instagram {here} so you don't miss anything!

I have been living in these jeans since I purchased them about a month ago! I have been getting a lot of you snapping me asking how I like them. They're by far my favorite denim purchase this year!! You can't beat the price and they are super flattering. I noticed that they are pretty low in stock online...sad face! I did do a little research and I found this pair that a lot of girls are raving about. They are also currently on sale for $50! I also found this pair if you are looking for a little less of the distressed detailing. Those ones are marked down to $30. I might have to add them to my collection!

 Totally unrelated, my baby turns 19 months old today!! She's a full blown toddler and our whole life. This age has been a blast! I found myself looking back on all the monthly pictures/posts I used to do on Instagram the other day. It's crazy how you forget so quickly all the little things. Are you guys interested in a post talking about the last 6 months with a toddler?? I've been throwing it around because I want to remember every little detail from this stage! It's the best!!

Xo, Kayla

P.S. We had the chance to shoot with Samantha this past weekend and she was an absolute doll! If you are in the San Diego area, I highly recommend her. She was so sweet and patient with Kennedy~at this age, that's a must :) Her work is unreal too!! She's seriously amazing!! You can follow along with her adventures here.

.What I'm Loving Wednesday, Thanksgiving Eve Edition.

Happy, Happy Thanksgiving Eve!! I can't wrap my head around the fact that it's the middle of the holidays. I don't know how we got here, but never the less, I am thrilled!! This week has felt very festive with the cooler weather (we even got rain!), we picked up our tree and set it up, and Tyler and I shared our first glass of eggnog while watching "Christmas Vacation" If that doesn't sound like a festive week, I don't what does!

I have been loving a lot of things this week and thought I'd share. It turns out most of them are either Kennedy, Christmas or beauty related. I told you, it's been a good week! I'd love to know what you have been loving lately!!

Image via Pinterest

The one thing I have been loving the most this week is our Christmas tree!! For years, I have been trying to talk Tyler into a fake one and it honestly seemed like a lost cause.  To my surprise, he finally agreed when we were conveniently at Target last weekend. We have limited space in our living room and I was really nervous how it was going to go with Kennedy. You know, toddlers & a tree just seemed like a recipe for disaster. Fake seemed like the obvious answer and I'm happy to report, so far everything has worked out great! The tree is the perfect size and Kennedy has been leaving it alone for the most part. She's touched it a couple times, but has been really gentle. She stares at it and says "pretty tree" :) I wanted to share that our exact tree is on sale for $30, like what?! I think the sale only lasts through today though. If you're also limited on space or want a second tree for somewhere in you house, this is the perfect tree!!

I went into Sephora to grab a mascara a couple weeks ago and had rewards points that I hadn't used in a long time. I ended up grabbing this CC cream because I have heard nothing but rave reviews. Guys, this stuff is gold!! I fell madly in love. It has incredible coverage and lasts allll day. Also, it's so moisturizing! I do use a little powder over the top though just because I like my skin to look matte. FYI, this CC cream is not sold in stores. I learned that the hard way :) You can either order it from Sephora or Ulta has it in store.

Another beauty item that I picked up when I went to Sephora was this mascara. I have been using it with this mascara primer that I picked up for $5 at Target. This combo is the holy grail of mascara combo!! Talk about glam, intense lashes. It seriously looks like I'm wearing falsies. If you're a lash girl, you need this combo in your life!!

I've been sipping my coffee out of my favorite mug this week! Anthropologie brings the gold monogramed version back every Christmas and it always sells out. It's the best gift for any coffee lover out there and it's only $10! I'm also swooning over the cocktail glass version that they released. I'm thinking a couple "S" ones would look great on the barcart. Did you hear that, Santa?!

I picked up this sweater for Kennedy and I have been dying for her to wear it. Gap released an almost identical sweater last year and I have kicked myself for about 11 months for not getting it for Kennedy! Thankfully being patient paid off because I love this years version even more. I'm thinking I am going to pair it with this tutu dress for when she meets her favorite man, Santa!!  It's currently 50% off with code: TGIF50

I saved the best for last! One thing, or should I say place, that I have been loving this week is Old Navy! That's really not a new love affair, but this week it has been on another level. The entire store has been 40% off and as of today they kicked it up a notch and started Black Friday early making everything a whooping 50% off!! It's no secret that Old Navy is my go to when it comes to dressing Kennedy. I have been stocking up on essentials for her like this sweater and these fun socks. The real reason I have been frequenting Old Navy is because their holiday pjs are the cutest. I grabbed this pair for Kennedy in the red. They are super soft! I also got these ones for myself because we will be somewhat twinning with the stripes!

.Blush Off The Shoulder Sweater.

Sweater, c/o Shein {under $30!}|| Jeans, Old Navy || Sunnies, Quay || Booties, similar here

What's that, I'm styling another cozy sweater?! Yes, the answer is always yes.

The more we inch towards the cooler months, I find myself always reaching for cozy, lightweight {because it's never that cool here}, chic sweaters! This one basically jumped in my online shopping cart before I could even think about it! I blame it on the blush color! I am so drawn to anything & everything blush these days. It may just end up being one of our wedding colors! I think that gives you an idea of how much I'm loving blush these days!!

Speaking of our wedding, I had something pretty dang exciting happen two weekends ago when we were on vacation. I asked one of my bridesmaids if she would stand my side on our big day! She said yes....*happy dance*. I'm holding off on asking the rest of the bridal party, but since we were in Arizona and she lives there, I had to do it! She's one of my oldest and dearest friends, so it was a pretty special moment. It made me super excited to ask the rest of the girls!!

.Thanksgiving Outfit Inspiration With Kute N' Klever.

Sweater, c/o Kute N Klever || Motto Leggings, c/o Miss Match || Booties, c/o Gray Monroe || Hat, Forever 21 || Sunnies, Karen Walker || Purse, Michael Kors {exact color!}||
Watch, c/o Christian Paul|| Bracelet, J.Crew

It seems like the moment the clock struck midnight on Halloween, we all moved on to Christmas! I'm guilty of this, I'm currently listening to the Michael Buble Christmas Pandora station as I type  :) I don't know if you aware or not, but Thanksgiving is in less than one week! 6 freaken days, people!! Which reminds me I have two things to do, get my grocery shopping started & Thanksgiving outfit plan for our family!!

While shopping around online for Thanksgiving outfits, one of my all time favorite boutiques came to mind, Kute N Klever! If you are not following their store on Instagram {here} you are seriously missing out! Kendra is the owner and a doll! She has me feeling outfit envy every time she posts a new picture.

When I think Thanksgiving wardrobe I think neutrals, jewel tones, flowly dresses, stylish leggings/jeggings, and sweaters. Basically, I strive for comfort while still looking put together! Comfort is key because I'm not counting calories on Thanksgiving-duh! But I don't want to be the one that has to unbutton their jeans, haha #embarassing!

The moment this sweater arrived in the mail, I was dying to style it. There was only one problem, it looked good with everything! It was nearly impossible to decided on which pants I wanted to wear because every option was a darling outfit. White jeans, distressed blue denim, black jeans, it even looked perfect with my sequin skirt! Since I had Thanksgiving in mind, I wanted to keep it more on the casual side. Ultimately, I thought it was a no brainer that I would wear the jeggings! Remember what I said above, I don't want to be the one unbuttoning my pants ;) This really is my idea of the perfect Thanksgiving outfit!

I wanted to mention that I was able to find my bag in the exact color online! This color always sells out before I can link it.

.Baby Registry List With The Baby Cubby.

Kennedy's Moccs, c/o The Baby Cubby || Floral Quit, c/o The Baby Cubby

It's hard to believe that it's been almost two years since I did my baby registry for Kennedy. That was such a fun day! I don't know if Tyler would agree since it ended up being 4 hours long walking around with that amazing scanning gun. I personally had such a blast!

 I spent what felt like months leading up to it doing my research. Countless hours on Pinterest, reading other mom blogs & asking family friends what worked for them!  With all that research I did, I still look back and think I was going into blind!

I can say that there was one baby store that made my life a whole lot easier when it came to finding everything I needed. I stumbled upon The Baby Cubby on Instagram back when I first found out we were expecting. I quickly fell in love when I realized The Baby Cubby was anything but your typical baby store! They are a community where parents and parents to be can go to get advice when they are overwhelmed. They have so many amazing tools! My favorite being their Instagram {follow them here}, they have a blog {follow here}, and their website is extremely easy to navigate. Oh and the best part of all if you're shopping, they price match-even Amazon!!

I just really love that they take the guess work out of shopping. You can rest assured that you are always getting the best deal and the safest gear on the market for your little ones. As a parent, I know this is the most important thing when shopping!!

Today I thought it would be fun to share with you guys my revised baby registry list! It's complied of items I wish I would have had and items that are my ride or die.

 Owlet Baby Vital Monitor
The number one thing I wish I had when Kennedy was a newborn was an Owlet Baby Vital Monitor. This little gem would have saved me a lot of sleepless nights! It wasn't available when Kennedy was young and at the time there really wasn't anything that compared. All my friends that have since had babies of their own swear by it! I haven't heard one bad review.

If you don't know what an owlet monitor is, I'll explain real quick. It's a sock that your baby wears and it uses hospital grade technology to make sure your little one is breathing! SIDS was my absolute biggest fear having a newborn, I know this device would have given me peace of mind and a lot more nights of sleep!! You really can't put a price tag on peace of mind!!

Dockatot
Just like the Owlet, I don't know how we made it through the early months without this wonderful product! If you have been following my blog since Kennedy was a newborn, you know that she was not a great sleeper! I think she didn't sleep through the night till she was 8 1/2 months! She did sleep good when she was snuggled, but since it's not safe to leave blankets and pillows in the crib, this sleeper would have been the best thing for her! I also love that it's perfect for tummy time. Not to mention how portable it is! The perfect sleeper to tote back and forth to Grandma's house :)

4Moms MamaRoo
Whenever someone ask me what the one thing was that saved our lives in the beginning, I always tell them The 4Moms MamaRoo! I don't think Tyler and I would have made it without this rocker, haha. When we first brought Kennedy home from the hospital, it was the only thing she would sleep in. Which was a lifesaver because this mama needed at least 30 minutes of sleep every now and then! It has a really cool feature too where you can sync it to an app on your phone and control it from across the room. This did come in handy a couple times!

Petunia Pickle Bottom Backpack Diaper Bag
I've talked about before how hard it was for me to decided on a diaper bag! It was one of those purchases that I was going back and forth on. Eventually I went with the Petunia Pickle Bottom Backpack. Best decision, ever! I have used this bag every single day for over 18 months and I still love it! The backpack feature was a must because you always have your hands full with a million things when out and about with baby. I find the backpack even more convenient now that I have a toddler and I'm always running after her :) My absolute favorite thing about this bag, is the attached changing pad!! I've never had to worry about where I am going to change Kennedy when we are out! I can't recommend this bag enough!

Little Unicorn Swaddle Blankets
Even if your child doesn't like to be swaddled {like mine} there's so many other uses! we always had one or two of these in our diaper bag in case Kennedy got chilly. They are light weight enough, that you can use them anytime of the year. Living in San Diego, we don't get many "cold" days so these were perfect!! The prints are darling too.

Loved By Sophia Pacifier Clips
If you have a paci loving baby, these are such a must! I didn't purchase these until Kennedy was 3 months and I wished we had had them the whole time. Pacis are just like bobby pins in the sense that they are always going missing! This clips saved our lives when we had a fussy baby and we didn't have to turn the house upside down looking for a paci!!

**Thank you to The Baby Cubby for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.**

.Military Jacket.

Jacket, c/o Simply Bliss Boutique || Jeans, c/o Miss Match || Peplum T-Shirt, Urban Outfitters {comes in a bunch of colors} || Shoes, Converse c/o Famous Footwear || Sunnies, Karen Walker || Hat, Forever 21 {such a favorite!}

Layering is the key to any fall wardrobe in San Diego! Sweaters, Scarves and jackets are essential this time of year. Our weather is a little all over the place. Just because it starts out chilly in the morning, doesn't mean it won't be 90 by lunch time. This is the exact situation these past couple weeks. Instead of crying about it, I have learned to dress for it.

My personal favorite piece to have on hand is a military jacket! There is a certain "cool" factor that goes into styling one of these jackets. And since I'm already a cool mom, I figure I need all the military jackets ;) Totally kidding!

They are perfect to throw over just about anything. It's one of those pieces that are worth every penny because you will get so much wear out of it. They are also going to be in style for many years to come, so it's worth the investment! This exact jacket from Simply Bliss is only $45! Pssttt...and a little secret, you can subscribe & get 20% off your purchase!

.Burgundy Blouse & White Denim.

Blouse, c/o The Rose Nest || Denim, Old Navy {only $25!}|| Necklace, c/o Harper & Jewels {similar here & loving this marble version!} || Sunnies, Karen Walker {seriously obsessed} || Leopard Wedges, Steve Madden {obsessed with these leopard flats! They're also on crazy sale!!}

Good morning, friends! I don't know about you, but we stayed up wayyy too late last night watching all the election craziness go down. Today is going to be a double shot kind of day, for sure.

This top was made to be worn with white denim, so I'm breaking that silly little rule about no white denim after Labor Day!! To be honest, I break this rule all the time. I'm just such a rebel ;) I love that this blouse has the comfort and ease of a basic top, but the pom pom detail totally dresses it up!

The Rose Nest Boutique has so many darling blouses and dresses in their shop! I'm loving this floral top with the dropped ruffle hem & this plaid ruffle blouse is my absolute favorite!! You can keep up with all their new arrivals {here} on Instagram.

Can you believe these wedges have been in my closet for a decade?! That's a really long time! It also officially makes me feel old!! I still remember the day I spotted them in the Steve Madden store. It was love at first sight! It's crazy to think that 10 years later, I love them just the same, if not more! It also goes to show that leopard is in fact a neutral.

Hope all of you have a wonderful day!!

.Pink Striped Cardigan.

Pink Cardigan, c/o She Is Boutique || Shirt, Nordstrom {I have been living in his shirt!} || Jeans, sold out-similar option here || Flats, Here || Sunnies, Karen Walker ||

It's finally Friday!! This week was so weird. Having Halloween on a Monday completely threw me off and I felt like the week went by pretty fast! Thank goodness. Fast work weeks are always my favorite!!

I stepped out of my hair comfort zone this past weekend and tried a half up, half down bun. Side note, I'm sure it has a name, but that's just what I am going to call it ;)  I loved that it kept my hair of out of my face and I have to admit, I felt pretty proud that I actually did something other than a pony or giant bun!!

When I posted a picture of this look {here} on Instagram this past weekend, I got a lot of questions about my flats. I got them last year from a company that has since when out of business. I was able to track the exact pair down on Amazon for only $22.99!! They also carry a couple other colors too. I have worn these flats so much over the past 12 months. I have worn them to weddings, in our family photos {here}, and just running around town! They are such a statement piece and easily dress up any outfit. They're also super comfortable too, if you were wondering. They are the perfect flats to have on hand going into the holidays!!

I also found these on Amazon when I was shopping around for my flats. This pair looks so much like the Valentino pair! I don't know how they look in real life, since I haven't ordered them, but I am tempted! If anyone has purchased this brand, I would love to know your thoughts!

Let's be honest though, the real star of this outfit is the pink striped cardigan! I'm such a sucker for stripes in general, but make them pink & cozy and it's a full blown love affair! This cardigan is everything I could ever ask for! It does have ties attached to it, instead of tying it around the front, I opted to make a loose bow in the back. If you're also a cardigan queen and love pink, She Is Boutique also carries this one that I'm dying over!

And I had to throw in one picture of our little Tinkerbell from her cousins costume party!! Look at her sass, she totally gets it from her dad ;)

.Blush Blanket Scarf.

Scarf, c/o Armed & Readi {currently sold out, love this one!} || Sunnies, Karen Walker || Jeans, c/o Miss Match || Blouse, Old {similar here} || Booties, c/o Miss Match || Watch, Christian Paul Watches || Bracelets, J.Crew & J.Crew Factory

First of all, let's address what you all are probably thinking! Yes, I am wearing these jeans yet again. I'm not even embarrassed that I pretty much have them on in every picture these days. I probably should be though, haha! This is real life and truthfully they are my favorite jeans!! Every morning when I get dressed, I find myself reaching for them. They're soft which makes them crazy comfortable, they go with everything, and they are super flattering! Oh and they're only $52. Every girl needs these jeans in their wardrobe.

It's finally scarf season in San Diego and that means I wear one just about everyday! On the days that I go into the office, I leave wayyy too early in the morning and it's pretty chilly out. Scarves are my best friends because I can layer and take them off when it warms up around lunch. Over the years I have accumulated quite the collection of fun scarves. Blanket scarves are the ones that I usually gravitate towards! I was thrilled to add this blush beauty from Armed & Readi to my collection because it's so different from anything I already owned. I adore the light blush color with the black! It's the perfect feminine touch to any outfit.

Not only does Armed & Readi carry the cutest collection of scarves, but they have so many other fun girly gifts for every occasion! My personal fav being this makeup bag!! We are going on a vacation next week and this would make the perfect addition to my makeup bags! It also reminds me that I need to pick up some champagne ;)Or if you're also planning a wedding, this makeup bag would be the perfect gift for your bride tribe. They also recently started carrying sunnies and they're all adorable. The price point is amazing as well!!

Like I mentioned above, Tyler and I are headed out on vacation next week! This will be our first time really leaving Kennedy for an extended period of time. I'm feeling so many emotions from excitement to sadness every time I picture dropping her off. I know she's going to be in great hands, but oh man, I think there will be a lot of face timing going on ;) We are going to be road tripping and will have about 6ish hours on our hands. I've been tossing around the idea of doing a "Question & Answer" on my Snapchat! I always love watching other bloggers and friends do these! If you have any questions, from baby to wedding, feel free to email me {kaylaotineru@gmail.com} or send them to me on Snapchat.

Hope everyone has a fabulous day!! Thanks for stopping by.
