.Little Black Dress & Leopard.

Dress, c/o Momo Maternity // Hat, Elysian {not online, similar here} // Booties, Old {almost exact style here} // Necklaces, c/o Rocksbox {first month free with code: kaylaxoxo}, J.Crew // Bracelets, Kate Spade {similar style with bigger bow here}, J.Crew, c/o INpink Style {30% off with code: Dream30} // Sunnies, Karen Walker // Purse, Tory Burch

I don't know how I have made it through my pregnancy this far without this dress. If you can't tell I'm on a serious dress kick these days. I think it's because they are so comfortable as my belly keeps rapidly getting bigger by the day :) This dress is super ideal because it will grow with my belly, but still fits everywhere else. Not going to lie, there was a point about two weeks ago that I was at the mall with Tyler trying to find something to wear and I wanted to cry. I wanted a special outfit for Valentine's Day and I was determined to find something. I kid you not I went every single store and ended up with nothing. Well not nothing, I did leave with a piece of See's Candy! While I can still fit into some normal clothing, I have found that certain pieces just look more flattering at this point when they are maternity. I'm glad there's stylish places like Momo Maternity that come in and save the day with little dresses like this one! This exact style is part of their spring line and will be available shortly. In the meantime there's plenty of other adorable styles available on their website. Including this one {here} that's almost identical!

This shoot was a fun one because I got to sip on a Starbucks through most of it. I have been on a serious soy chai tea latte lately, but I decided to switch it up the other day and try their new tiramisu latte. I am sooo glad I did! It's extremely delicious and I have been back twice to get one. I really recommend you try it! {FYI, I get mine with soy and half the amount of syrup because I don't like my drinks very sweet.}

.28 & 29 Week Baby Bump Update.

With everything that is going on in our lives I managed to get a little behind on my baby bump updates. Week 28 was really rather uneventful so I didn't feel too bad. But week 29 was really exciting so I thought I would recap and share with all of you!

{Due Date} May 2, 2015

{Gender} Sweet baby girl!

{Name} Her initials are KGS

{Baby's Size} She weighed in at 3 pounds 10 ounces this past Saturday. We have a big, healthy girl :)

{Sleep} Oddly enough I have been getting pretty great sleep! It's been a nice change and I hope it stays like this, at least for a little while. The only time I have been waking up is to go pee a couple times. I'll take it!

{Cravings} Still loving all sweets. I'm really trying not to over indulge, but I do give in every once and awhile. Girl Scout cookies have really been calling my name. I've also been loving iced soy chai tea lattes. Like loving them sooo much, I have to talk myself out of going to Starbucks everyday. It's a battle I usually lose! Another, I guess weird thing that I have been craving, is chunky peanut butter, honey, and strawberry sandwich. Oh my, they are SO yummy!!

{Food Aversion} There's not really a certain item that has been bothering me these days. I just have to make sure I don't eat too much at once or I get really uncomfortable and heartburn kicks in.

{Feeling} Still feeling pretty darn good overall. I have noticed that I am getting tired a lot earlier and it's harder to get out of bed in the morning.

{Missing Anything} A lot of my shoes! Over the last week my feet have been swelling by the end of the day, making it nearly impossible to wear any of my flats or heels. I had to give in and buy a new pair of sandals in the next size up. It was an interesting day that may or may not have included some frustrated tears!

{Baby Girl Fashion Finds} Target got the cutest Spring dresses in. I couldn't help myself and I picked up this one. I got it in newborn size thinking she could wear it for Mother's Day, since she'll be about a week!

{Best Moment Of The Week} This week we have had the best moment of my entire pregnancy. This year we decided to skip out on the typical Valentine's Day gifts and had a 4D ultra sound done instead. It was the coolest experience. Not only did we get to see her face, but to watch her suck on her hands, yawn, stretch, and make some funny faces. She even gave us a little smile :) She was a little camera shy and kept hiding her face in my cervix, but it didn't even matter. It's crazy because this whole time Tyler and I have been talking about what she's going to look like. Turns out she's his twin. Which is perfectly fine by me, since I happen to think he's pretty cute :)

.Floral Maxi.

Dress, c/o Shop Impressions Boutique [obsessing over this print!!} // Sandals, Target // Purse, Tory Burch // Necklace, c/o Accessory Jane {sold out, have this one on my wish list} // Bracelets, J.Crew & J.Crew {old} // Sunnies, Karen Walker // Nails, Essie 'Under Where?' {the perfect purple}

Girls, this dress is what my dreams are made of. From the moment I slipped it on, I knew I was never going to want to take it off. I'm already making a list of all the other prints that I want to add to my collection. The fit and feel of the material is pure heaven, the print is perfect as we transition into spring, and I can definitely wear it over and over post pregnancy! It's one of those pieces I think every girl needs. I wore it this past weekend for a girls day at the bridal boutique for my cousin. I got so many compliments. One person that loved this dress was Tyler. He kept telling me over and over how pretty I looked. That's how you know it's a keeper :)

I have a confession, I have been holding out on all of you!! Don't ask me why, but I have been keeping a pretty amazing secret. My newest obsession when it comes to jewelry, Rocksbox. If you're an Instagram addict like myself, you may have noticed bloggers and savvy shoppers sporting some uber gorgeous bling courtesy of Roscksbox.

I love the concept of how Rocksbox works. It's a monthly jewelry subscription. When you sign up you fill out a survey so their stylist can get a feel for your personal style and what pieces would suit you best. Then, like magic, 3 gorgeous pieces will show up on your doorstep ready for you flaunt all over town. You keep them as long as you want. When you're ready for new pieces, you send them back and get new ones. If you fall madly in love you also have the choice to purchase any of the pieces at a discount. Isn't this a heaven sent idea?! .Fringe Vest.

Top & Vest, c/o BUMPstyle Box {similar non-maternity top & comes in a bunch of colors} // Jeans, c/o Pink Blush Maternity {similar, non-maternity & under $60!} // Necklace, c/o Vintage Green Jewelry // Bracelets, J.Crew, Mindy Mae's Market, c/o Shiny Mix {not online, obsessed with this one!} // Sunnies, Karen Walker // Sandals, Sam Edelman {similar}// Purse, Tory Burch

Today I'm showing you my last look from my BUMPstyle box this month. If you missed the last two you can see them here & here. To say I'm obsessed with faux fur vests would be an understatement. I catch myself mixing them into my outfits more often than I would like to admit. That's why I really like this vest because it's a nice alternative when I'm wanting to switch things up. It's also lighter than a faux fur which works perfectly for this summer weather we have been having here in February!

Another item that I cannot stop myself from wearing daily is this gorgeous necklace from Vintage Green Jewelry. When I first came across their shop on Instagram, I spent about an hour drooling over all their unique pieces. I of course loved all the sparkle, but the fact that it looks vintage really won my heart over. All the pieces are designed by Edith Anne. She really has that special touch! Every piece is absolutely stunning.

.Valentine's Day Pink.

Dress, Ingrid & Isabel Via BUMPstyle Box c/o {similar & on sale! & loving this} // Blazer, Local Boutique {loving this & it's under $30!} // Heels, Aldo {Not Online, obsessed with these!} // Necklace, c/o Accessory Jane {sold out, love this option} // Sunnies, Karen Walker // Bracelets, J.Crew // Sequin Clutch , c/o BNB Styling

Happy Monday! I'm thrilled to be starting this week off with a new blog series here on A Darling Dream. I have the privilege of working with 6 other mama-to-be bloggers that are also due in and around May. Each month we will be covering a different trend and hopefully inspiring all you other preggo ladies :) This week everyone nailed it! I will link up all the ladies blogs at the bottom. Make sure you go show them some love!

For our first post we thought with every one's favorite lovie dovie holiday rapidly approaching, we would share with you our Valentine's Day looks! I'm a huge fan of everything and anything pink, so of course I'm totally on board with working it into my outfit! I wanted to go with a look that could work for a daytime date or easily transition into dinner and desert out on the town. I got this dress a couple weeks ago from BUMPstyle box and knew it would be perfect for Valentine's Day. I really loved how flattering it was and hugged in all the right places. The lace detail is what really sold me. Lace and pink, if that doesn't scream Valentine's Day, I don't know what does! For a fun twist I decided to pair it with the floral blazer. I love the mix of different textures and colors together. {The blazer is no longer available, but I did link up a super cute floral one I found for under $30!!} I think this would be the perfect outfit whether you are spending Valentine's with your man, family, or girlfriends!

.27 Week Baby Bump Update.

Dress, Old Navy // Jacket, J.Crew {old, very similar here & on sale!} // Booties, Impressions Boutique {love these too} // Necklace, c/o Green Vintage Jewelry // Bracelets, J.Crew, c/o INPINK {30% off your entire purchase with code: DREAM30 } // Sunnies, Karen Walker

Last week I had to skip my weekly baby bump update due to being so sick. There was no way you wanted to see a picture of what I looked like last week! I did you guys a favor, haha :)

{Due Date} May 2, 2015

{Gender} Sweet baby girl!

{Name} Her initials are KGS

{Baby's Size} About 2 pounds, the size of a head of cauliflower

{Sleep} Getting a little better. I really think it's because I have been so exhausted so I sleep really hard! I have noticed that my belly is getting heavier when I sleep on my side so I have to make sure that it's propped up my pregnancy pillow.

{Cravings} Long live my sweet tooth!! Girl Scout cookies are really making me happy these days. I try not eat the whole box of Samoas :) I've also been craving lots of fresh fruit still. I have strawberries and blackberries with my lunch everyday. I also have been having an apple with Justin's Maple Almond Butter every afternoon, simply delicious!!

{Food Aversion}  Nothing has been bothering me too much. Just still staying away from really spicy foods to avoid heartburn.

{Feeling} Little miss must be having a major growth spurt or something. My belly has been feeling like it's stretching from the inside out and actually hurting a little this week. I know I still have about 12 weeks left but I really don't know how it could get much bigger!!

{Missing Anything}  Nope!

{Baby Girl Fashion Finds} I haven't been doing much shopping these past two weeks. I'm actually quite proud of myself for having such discipline when it comes to staying away from the mall. I am however on Etsy every single day, whoops :) There are just SO many adorable baby pieces, it's hard to not take a look around. I currently have these cute baby mocs in my cart. The gold, the bows, the fringe, my heart might explode from how cute they are! Baby girl needs them in every color, don't you think?!

{Best Moment Of The Week} This week has been a whirlwind! Half of it was spent trying to get better than the rest was spent trying to play catch up on everything. It's crazy how much you miss when you're in bed for a week!! In the middle of all the chaos I realized that this is my last week in the second trimester and it hit me how soon she's going to be here. Every little kick, nudge or twirl she does in my belly, I fall more in love with her. I've been trying to cherish it all!

XOXO, Kayla

.Print Perfection.

Blouse, H&M {only in stores} // Sweater, Forever 21 {only $12.90 & comes in SO many colors!! I'm dying for the pink!} // Jeans, c/o Pink Blush Maternity {can't stop wearing them!!} // Sandals, Steve Madden {old, similar here} // Sunnies, Karen Walker // Earrings, c/o Urbanite in blush color{10% off with code: KOTINERU} // Bracelets, Brina Box, Jcrew {old}, c/o INpink {30% off with code: DREAM30 good until Feb 28th!}

Good Morning, loves. I wanted to take a minute to apologize for being MIA both here & Instagram over the last week. Last Monday I came down with the flu and it totally kicked my pregnant butt!! I actually ended up in the hospital and out of work all week. It definitely wasn't how I envisioned my week, but thankfully I'm almost back to feeling like myself. Everything is great with the baby so that's all that I really care about!

A couple weeks ago I was walking through H&M when I spotted this floral top and my first thought was "yesss, I must have that!". The print just drew me in. I'm always drawn to anything mint, but I loved how it had purple, coral, and black running through it as well. It's a great piece for transitioning into Spring. I also think every girl needs this sweater. It comes in just about every color and is under $13! It's a great piece for when you just want a light sweater to throw over a dress or blouse. I'm really loving the pink color too.

Another thing I am LOVING are these perfect earrings from Urbanite! I'm usually more of a stud earring sort of gal, but these beauties are super light and didn't bother my ears at all. Also, they're too cute that I couldn't help falling in love with them! They're ideal for the those days you're not feeling a statement necklace, but still want that something extra special!
