.37 & 38 Weeks Baby Bump Update.

As I write this I can't believe that I am one week away from my due date! I was really expecting these last couple weeks to drag, but they truly flew by. I had a check up with my doctor today and we scheduled an official induction date if little miss is stubborn and decides not to come out. I'm really hoping & praying that she comes on her own though. I don't think I can wait about 2 more weeks to meet her. I have a feeling this weekend will consist of a lot of long walks and whatever else we can do to speed this process along :)

{Due Date} May 2, 2015....8 days till my due date!!

{Gender} Sweet baby girl!

{Name} Her initials are KGS

{Baby's Size} On average about 7 pounds and over 19 inches and I am totally feeling like she's huge at this point! This belly is large & in charge!!

{Sleep} Last week I was barely getting any sleep, but I am happy to report that things have gotten a little better this week. I have even slept for about 3 hours at a time. Winning in my book!

{Cravings} I'm not really craving anything in particular. I am hungry pretty much 24/7 at this point! I am really trying to over indulge, but I am still giving into the sweets. It's weird too because I have found that I really crave junk food lately!

{Food Aversion} Pretty much anything that has spice. It gives me the most intense heartburn. I still try to eat spicy food since I love it, but right away I always regret it.

{Feeling} Sick! This week I came down with a lovely cold that one of my coworkers shared with me. As if being 38 weeks pregnant wasn't hard enough, adding a cold into the mix has made this week a long one. Thankfully, I am starting to feel better and today marks my last day of work. I can't wait to sleep in next week!! Yay for maternity leave!

{Missing Anything} My pre-pregnancy body! As I see all the adorable clothes being released for summer I can't help but find myself dying to get back in shape. I'm dying to go romper shopping!

{Baby Girl Fashion Finds} This week we have been all about sleepers with feet. After I did all her laundry I noticed that we have a ton of cute outfit for her, but hardly any sleepers in newborn and 0-3 month size. My mom, Aunt, and myself made it our mission to find some. Now she has quite the collection and I love them all! I have to say my favorite brand that I have come across is Little Me. They have the most adorable prints with bows and ruffles. I got this cheetah one  and a couple really print soft floral ones that aren't online. I also love this one

{Best Moment Of The Week} Hearing our doctor say that she's in the perfect position and extremely low. Even though I haven't dilated yet, it's a sign that she could be coming shortly.

{Looking Forward To} Possibly meeting our little girl in the next week!

XOXO, Kayla

.35 & 36 Weeks Baby Bump Update.

Guess what?! We are moving again. Yes, you heard me right. I will be 37 weeks this Saturday and as if I wasn't tired enough we decided to throw moving into the mix. But in all seriousness, I am excited. It was the condo we had been waiting on and even though the timing was a little off there was no way we could pass it up. I am very excited to get our little ones room all set up. I'm just praying and praying she doesn't decide to make her entrance too early.

{Due Date} May 2, 2015

{Gender} Sweet baby girl!

{Name} Her initials are KGS

{Baby's Size} About the size of a head of romaine lettuce. Average of 6 pounds and 18 inches long.

{Sleep} Not much different than last week. I did have one night this week that I slept from 9:00pm all the way until 3:00 without waking up to pee!! This was the best night of sleep I have got in about 6 months. It was a really nice treat!

{Cravings} No surprise here, still loving sweets!

{Food Aversion} I don't know what it is, but I really think our little one is not a fan of Mexican food. I had rolled tacos (my fav!) the other day and got sick within two hours. So sad!

{Feeling} Huge!!! Well in my belly. I have noticed that my belly has dropped and grown these last two weeks. It looks like I shoved a basketball under my shirt. It's great because I know baby girl is growing and packing on the pounds. I would be lying though if I didn't tell you it wasn't a little uncomfortable. My belly is starting to feel very tight. It's really tight after I eat. Over the last 6 or 7 days I have noticed a significant slow down. I can't do things as fast and I get pretty winded from running up and down our stairs. I knew this time was coming but it definitely snuck up on me. I know I should be taking advantage of this and resting but there's too much that needs to be done before she gets here.

{Missing Anything} Having ankles! Just Kidding...well kind of ;)

{Baby Girl Fashion Finds} I have been a really good girl these last two week and haven't bought one clothing item for her! I've really shocked myself. Etsy has been calling my name! I am currently dying over these little boat shoes!! Anytime there's a collaboration between two of my favorite retailers, J.Crew and Sperry, you know the outcome is going to be great. I seriously die over these! The neon pink sold me. I'd really, really like a pair in my size too!!

We also picked up her diaper bag this past weekend. I don't know what it was, but I couldn't make up my mind when it came to finding the perfect diaper bag! I knew what I wanted in my head, but it was nowhere to be found. I'm personally not a fan of all the over the top floral or cartoon like patterns that most brands sell. Heck, this bag is going to be taking the place of my purse most of the time so I want it to my stylish. I thought about buying a regular purse and turning into a diaper bag, but quickly decided against it. I also tried to keep in mind that Tyler will occasionally be toting this around without me. In the end, we went with this one. I love the subtle design and the gold details. I'm also a huge fan of the changing pad that folds out!

{Best Moment Of The Week} I started doing all her laundry and it was the cutest. I never thought I could enjoy doing laundry :)

Watching Tyler and his good friend Tony put together her crib and dresser. I've been dreaming of this day and it was finally here.

We also went to a check up yesterday. It was a relief to find out that everything is still going great and baby looks healthy. I do have to go back in next week for a non-stress test because she wants to keep an eye on a couple things. But all in all, everything was perfect!

{Looking Forward To} Getting all moved in and settled in our new place!

XOXO, Kayla

.Navy & Coral.

{Tyler's usually behind the camera so it was nice to get some pictures together. I loved them so much I had to share! He's so handsome :) Even after all these years he still gives me butterflies......P.S. It was so windy down at the bay, so please forgive my crazy hair!!}

Happy Monday! I hope you had an amazing Easter weekend. Ours was jam packed with Birthday parties, family coming into to town, and spending time with our loved ones. Of course it was a great weekend. I just wish it didn't go by so fast. I'm really looking forward to next weekend because we are going to be celebrating Tyler's birthday! I got a couple surprises up my sleeve and I can't wait to celebrate him!

Today I'm teaming up with my fellow stylish mama-to-be bloggers to do our spin on Spring/Easter looks. I love the looks that everyone came up with. I think they're my favorite so far! Make sure you check out their blogs for inspiration! I will link everyone's blog below.

Wrap dresses are probably one of the most flattering outfits I have worn this pregnancy. They hug you in the right places and lay perfectly. This navy and coral style from Pink Blush Maternity is absolutely stunning. I'm loving this color combo and pattern for spring. Not to mention this dress is the softest thing I have ever worn! You'll never want to take it off. I'm going to try and get as much wear out of it as I can in the next 4 weeks before our little girl is here! I truly think it will be just as flattering after, so don't be surprised if you see me wearing it well into summer. Bonus, my favorite new sunnies that I scored from Forever 21 matched perfectly! Don't you love when that happens?!

{Size Tip, I was worried that I would need to size up in this dress because it looked tight online. I went ahead and ordered a small, my pre-pregnancy weight, and it fits perfectly! It's even long enough and I'm on the tall side. Hope this helps!}
