.Blue Dress With My Blue Eyed Girl.

Dress, c/o Shein // Booties, c/o Miss Match {obsessed with these & they're only $34!}
// Sunnies, c/o Shop Suey Boutique {color: gold} // Purse, Michael Kors // Watch, c/o Christian  Paul // Bracelet, J.Crew

Kennedy
Bow, c/o Zozu Baby // Blouse, Old Navy {sold out, obsessed with this top for fall}

Any girls out there have a serious sunglasses obsession like I do?! I'm always on the hunt for fun, edgy, and inexpensive sunnies. I love a good classic style and I equally love a fun trendy pair! I recently came across the online boutique, Shop Suey Boutique. They carry the cutest sunglasses at the best prices!! None of them are over $15.50. I'm obsessed with these ones I'm wearing and I also think these Penelope glasses would be gorgeous in the rose gold.

Blue & white will forever be a favorite color combo of mine! I've been so drawn to it this summer too. This little dress stole my heart and I had to have it. It's currently on sale and only $16.99. The perfect piece to wrap up summer in. You could also throw a utility style jacket {like this one, only $39} over it with some little booties {like these} and it would be perfect for fall.

Always clapping, motioning for itsy-bitsy spider, making her rawr face & never smiling on cue...these are a few of Kennedy's very favorite things right now! I love that having a blog has allowed us to capture these moments! They might not seem big in our everyday life, but they are favorites of mine that I never want to forget!!

 Also, I can't believe I have such a blonde baby! I should have expected it because Tyler was so blonde as a child, but it still surprises me daily :) She is such her daddy's mini me!

.Peplum Print Perfection.

Blouse, c/o Verity // Cropped Jeggings, Target {scored on super sale for $8!} // Booties, c/o Miss Match {similar style here} // Purse, Michael Kors // Sunnies, c/o Shop Suey Boutique // Lips, Lipsense 'Apple Cider' {Lips by Lex} // Bracelets, J.Crew & Kate Spade {not online, similar bow style here} // Watch, c/o Christian Paul

Do you ever fall so in love with a print that you want to wear it every single day? Because that's what happened when I got this beauty of a blouse! The obsession I have with it is very real. It's simply gorgeous. I also love that it works for summer and has all the perfect jewel tones for transitioning into fall. I'm digging the peplum style too!

Last week I ran into Target really quick on my lunch break to pick up some essentials. You know the fun stuff: body wash, paper plates, Annie's cheddar bunnies, sparkling water & a treat for Kennedy! I accidentally got very, very distracted!! I hardly ever look in the women's clothing section anymore. I have a new route ever since getting pregnant that sends me straight to the baby clothes section the moment I step in Target. For whatever reason, I decided to switch that up last week. **Thank goodness!!** Talk about the most epic sale section you have ever laid eyes on. I'm talking, heart pounding, high from the excitement, extreme couponer type sale section! Dresses, blouses, jeans were as low as $6. And everything was super cute too. I only had a limited time, but I managed to do some damage! I definitely left Target feeling like a winner :)

These cropped jeggings were one of the pieces that I scored for only $8! I love them SO much. Oddly enough, I have never tried on Target's denim. These feel super high end and basically like you have your favorite sweats on! It's hard to tell in these photos, but there's a very light pinstripe detail on them. I wasn't able to find the exact pair online to link. I just wanted to warn you guys that if you are in Target to run to the sale section and get you some goodies!! When there's jeans on sale for as much as lunch at Chick-fil-a, you get them!!

Happy Friday Eve, friends!!

.Boho Babydoll & Golden Hour.

Dress, c/o Shopjoyworks {use code DARLINGDREAM20 for 20% off}// Sandals, Target {back in stock!! Hurry though, they sell out fast!} // Necklace, Kendra Scott // Sunnies, Karen Walker // Bracelets, J.Crew

Happy Thursday, friends!! This mornings 3:45am wake up call from our teething toddler has me very excited to be inching towards the weekend! I don't think there's enough coffee in the world to get me through this day ;)

On mornings like today, where sleep deprivation has me feeling not so put together, I look to my closet for some help. There's nothing like throwing on an adorable dress to put a little pep in your step.  This boho babydoll dress is a current favorite and if you follow me on Snapchat, chances are you've seen it a time or two...whoops! The crochet detail at the top is lovely and the dropped ruffle hem makes the dress!

 If you're planning ahead and thinking about fall, this would be the perfect dress for transitioning. Picture it with a pair of booties, a boyfriend cardigan, and a hot coffee in your hand. Fall perfection at it's finest!! Just the thought of all that has me excited for cooler temps. Hurry up fall!!

I also have some exciting news, my sandals have been restocked on Target's website!! The quality of these sandals is unreal and you can't beat the price tag ($32!) since they are pretty much exact dupes for these ($945)!! They also come in black. You might as well get both colors since it's such a great deal!

.Fall Floral Dress.

Dress, Heavenly Couture // Sandals, Ann Taylor {only $14!} // Sunnies, Karen Walker

After we wrapped up our dinner the other night downtown Tyler and decided to walk around and explore. We were laughing to ourselves because it was so crowded and we felt so out of the loop. We were joking that this is what adults do on the weekends when we are at home getting Kennedy to bed and looking forward to catching up on our DVR. No shame though ;)

In the middle of all the nightlife there was a boutique that caught my eye! {this is not shocking if you know me. I will shop at all hours of the day!!} I didn't think for a second it was open since it had to be at least 10:30pm,but thankfully I was wrong. I was just going to window shop because it looked a little over priced. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed a sign that said "Nothing over $17".....excuse me, what?!? Without hesitation, I yelled to Tyler that I was going in.

I could have easily grabbed half the store to try on, I just didn't want to make Tyler wait allll night. I ended up grabbing two pieces, this dress being one of them. They both fit and I fell in love! I know what you're probably thinking "Another floral dress?! Just what you need Kayla...not"! Well, yes it was just I need! The colors in this dress will be perfect for transitioning into fall. Also, you can never have too many floral dresses, so get used to seeing them on here for many years to come :)

.Sky Blue Lace Up Dress.

Dress, c/o Beck Boutique // Flats, Target {only $11.48!!} // Sunnies, Karen Walker // Kennedy Cursive Necklace, Love Always Couture // Watch, c/o Christian Paul  // Bracelet, J.Crew // Lips, MAC 'Japanese Maple' with 'Staunchly Stylish' Liner

I don't know about where you live, but here in San Diego it has felt like one million degrees every single day for about the past month! I'm so over it! The other day I was trying to run errands all while melting and thought to myself, we have to move! Somewhere cooler, anywhere, I don't care!! Alaska, Antarctica, Seattle...book the ticket, I'm out!! After I calmed down from my diva moment, I decided we can't possibly move, I'd miss my Mom way too much :) I wrapped up all my running around and headed home.

Here's the great part, it was pretty much destiny if you ask me! I had a package from the darling Beck Boutique waiting for me on my doorstep. It was as if the fashion gods heard my complaining and decided to give me a little treat!! Inside that box was this gorgeous dress! Tassels, lace up details and pockets!!! Pockets are always a deal sealer in my book. Those two little pockets always raise the cuteness level to the max. I don't know what it is either, it's not like I stick anything in them, haha ;) Anyways, if you are looking for the perfect summer dress, look no further! I have to mention too, the fabric is amazing! It's like wearing your fav pjs around all day...winning!!

.Date Night At Bice.

This past Saturday Tyler and I dropped Kennedy off at my Mom's house and headed out for a much needed date night. I never realized how important date nights were until recently! Tyler and I really need this time to sit down and reconnect! It's hard during our regular schedules because we are just go, go, go. I cherish the times we can hang out just the two of us and laugh and enjoy each others company. This past weekend we had such a great date night that I thought I would  tell you about it!

We dined at Bice in the Gaslamp Quarters Downtown. We both had never been there, but had heard so many great thing, so we were excited! Italian is our favorite and the fact that they had a cheese bar is what sold me.

First we started with cocktails! Normally I would stick to Chardonnay, but their cocktail list looked so fun I had to try one. I went with the "Summer in Sorrento" and it was amazing!! It was probably the best cocktail I've ever had, no joke! It was light, refreshing, a little tart, and not too sweet! Not to mention, it was adorable in the mason jar! I highly recommend this drink if you stop in!

After we got our drinks we quickly placed our cheese order! Our waiter, Arnold, was so helpful. We told him which types of cheeses we loved and he created our plate based on that. We are huge cheese lovers so we told him to surprise us too.He did not disappoint. Talk about cheese heaven! If I could I would live off cheese, bread, meat & olives!! Tyler and I were having so much fun coming up with different pairings. I can't tell you how delicious this spread was. I would go back for this treat every single night!

As stuffed as we were from all the cheese we indulged in, we were still excited for our meals. Tyler went with the rib-eye that was on special and I went with the beef tenderloin medallions. Both absolutely delicious!! I'm not joking when I say between each bite we were talking about how we were coming back. I tend to get nervous when we go to new places because I feel like my meal never lives up to the hype. I'm happy to report that both of our meals were scrumptious. I mean, look at that picture!! I'm craving my meal all over again :)

At this point, I was beyond full, but who can say no to dessert?! Oh and we ordered not one dessert, but two, haha! We couldn't decided. We ordered the "Box Of Gold" and "Beeramisu". Both desserts were great, but hands down the "Box Of Gold" was the winner in our books!! If you love peanut butter, you'll love this! Not only was it delicious, look how pretty it was too!

I could go on and on about our experience! It really was on of those meals where we left feeling very satisfied and thinking about our future trip back. The service was the best we ever had in San Diego and the food was superb. If you are in need for a new date night spot, Bice should be your place!! Make sure you ask for Arnold to be your server. He was the best!

Dress, c/o Shopjoyworks // Sandals, Ann Taylor // Clutch, c/o Mindy Mae's Market

I've been dying to wear this little white dress from the moment I got it! Date night seemed like the perfect excuse. I got so many questions from you girls on Snapchat asking where it was from. I snagged it from one of my favorite boutiques Shopjoyworks. I love, love the crochet trim at the bottom. We have a beach vacation coming up next week & this beauty is totally coming along!

I  have a 20% coupon code for all you lovely ladies too {DARLINGDREAM20}!

Also, I know I have talked about these sandals a lot since I've got them, but they are such a great deal! They are marked down to $29 with an extra 40% off again! The eggshell color I'm wearing is running low on sizes, but the blush still has quite a few in stock! These were one of my favorite purchases of the summer. FYI, they run very true to size.

Happy Tuesday!!

.Spotlight Fashion Link Up, Floral.

{This one has so much spunk! She was basically clapping and dancing this whole shoot...when she wasn't trying to run away from us :) haha}

Dress, c/o Pink Blush // Flats, Charlotte Russe {love these even more & they are part of the #nsale} // Sunnies, Karen Walker // Necklace, Old {obsessed with this one} // Bracelets J.Crew

Kennedy
Romper, Old Navy {not available online, love this one & this one!-only $14} // Moccs, c/o Angel Baby Moccs // Headband, c/o Rain & Honey Bows

I'm excited to be guest hosting with Elle from Living In Color Style and Jacqueline from Stylin' In St. Louis. They're both just darling and have amazing style! I love that Elle's daughter & Kennedy have the same romper on! Twinsies :) If you want to link up with this weeks theme, floral, all the directions are at the bottom! It's a great way to meet new bloggers!

Two things that are not a secret around here, I'm a floral print addict and I love Pink Blush. Pink Blush is the creme de la creme of Maternity stores online. They are solely responsible for keeping me looking extra chic during my pregnancy...which I do miss! I still follow them on Instagram and swoon over their new arrivals. If you are pregnant, I can't recommend their jeans enough! They were the best I found on the market and you really can't beat the price! I had two pairs that I basically lived in while pregnant.

I'm also a huge fan of their woman's line for us non-preggo ladies! Their excellent price points always grab my attention. Not to mention, they are constantly running the best sales. So many of my favorite pieces in my closet are from Pink Blush.

This dress is my newest piece from their dress line and quickly becoming a staple in my wardrobe. I don't say that lightly since I think I have worn it well over 5 times in the three weeks that I have owned it. The print instantly grabbed my attention when I was scrolling through their new arrivals. The fit and feel of it, is what has really won me over! I love the swing style because it really is the best option for staying comfortable while chasing Kennedy around. I feel like I mention "chasing Kennedy around" a lot, but if you have a busy toddler, you will completely understand!

I have exciting news for all of you that love Pink Blush too!! Today I am teaming up with them to give away a $50 gift card to one lucky reader. The giveaway is easy peasy and is being held over on Instagram tonight at 6:30 PST. You can find all the details here. Good Luck, may the odds be ever in your favor :)

Lastly, l I have to take a minute to talk about how we have been playing favorites when it comes to Kennedy's bows lately. I recently discovered Rain & Honey bows on Etsy and fell in love! Their quality is top notch and we have tried a lot of bows, so I figured we could be good judges in this department! She also has a really fun and unique style called the "Azalea" that we love! Kennedy is wearing it here & we got so many compliments. If you're in the market for some new bows for your little, I can't recommend Rain & Honey enough!
