Good Morning, loves! Can you believe there's only 5 days left of October?! I really wish I could freeze time as we enter the holidays. It always goes too fast and I want to enjoy every second.
If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat {both Kotineru} you know we took a very spontaneous trip up to Disneyland on Monday. We got yearly passes when we went back in May and to say I've been dying to go back would be an understatement! All the stars aligned Monday and Tyler ended up having the day off due to rain. My first question to him at 6:30am was "Want to go to Disneyland??". Thankfully he loves the happiest place on earth just as much as I do, so we got ready and packed up as fast as we could! This was very hard for me to do, since I am normally a planner! I mean, I didn't even have time to outfit plan for Kennedy ;) It felt really good though to be spontaneous!
Disneyland at Halloween time is my second favorite coming in right behind Christmas! There's "punkins" {as Kennedy says it} everywhere and they're adorable. Being there really got me in the holiday spirit. So much so, that we are already planning our holiday trip back to the park. I think that might be a two day trip!!
We couldn't have picked a better day to go as far as it being dead in the park! I guess a Monday & a slight chance of rain make for a great combo when it comes planning your trip :) It was so dead that we were able to go on the Little Mermaid ride 3 times in a row without waiting in line! Kennedy was pretty excited about this since it's her favorite ride. We also took her on Pirate's of The Carribean for the first time. She loved it! She said "weeee" after the drops in the beginning. I don't think it will ever get old watching her experience things that we love the first time.
Another thing that won't get old, is watching Kennedy's excitement when she sees the characters. Absolute magic is the only way to describe it! Tyler and I get tears in our eyes watching her get so excited. Minnie & Pluto were her favorites this trip. I'll include a couple picture below from our trip.
As I mentioned above, we got a little rain this week! Looks like San Diego decided to finally accept that it's fall and cool down. You have no idea how happy this makes me! It means I can finally wear all things plaid & buffalo check and not look like a complete dork...or sweat to death ;) I have been dying to wear this babydoll buffalo check blouse! It would be such a great blouse going into the holidays. I keep picturing it with these jeans & these boots {such a great price!!}!! Festive, comfortable & chic! My favorite kind of combo.
The top is listed as a dress, but it's too short for me to wear it on it's own{I'm 5'5}. For those of you that were asking, I'm wearing a small. It's made to fit oversized. I think I could have gotten away with an XS, but the small still fits great without being too big.
I hope everyone has the best Wednesday! Tonight Tyler and I are finally going to view a wedding venue that is at the top of my list. Fingers crossed we love it!! I might post a picture or two on Snapchat ;)
